    Finding it hard to get up for this one , just want them to come through injury free and then have a real bash at Liverpool on Sunday which is far more important for me.

    We are not going to catch Villa or Spurs anyway.

    I don`t mind resting Mainoo for the Liverpool game but if he does he will probably start Casemiro, Bruno and McTominay.
     
    If we win, 6 points in back of Spurs, potentially 5 points in back of Aston Villa. And we'll be 7 points or more from the pack chasing us from behind.

    Plus both Spurs and Villa have harder schedules than us, at least on paper.
     
    Predicting this one is very hard as you don't know what you'll get from either team. Just have a bad feeling Chelsea will beat us, they've been decent against the bigger teams at home.
     
    Chelsea away is never easy for us. But we are good enough to give it a go at least. 3 points would be vital for our top 4 chase.
    Hope to see Amad in our attack tonight.

    One of our best performances this season was against Chelsea at Old Trafford, where Bruno and McTominay started. That's not to say I'd necessarily like to see that, but I thought I'd mention it, as that could be something ten Hag uses for that reason.
     
    I have so given up on this team
    . I think we will play for 20 minutes and then give up . Usual crap.
     
    2 poor teams hoping for a win... if we turn up and play football instead of being hammerd in transition. If we can cope with the ball and be better we can win..

    Then the other side is just the same poor out of possession then you can get spanked. I can honestly say I can't see us getting a decent result in any of the remaining games, and it's bye bye Erik..

    No arguments there, but unfortunately that effort isn't likely to provide us the attacking impetus we need.

    But I guess we don't have that many options if do want to drop Rashford. It's either him or Amad and we know ETH will always pick Antony over Amad. Hopefully Antony can prove me wrong!!
     
    Deathrattles of a desperate man. Taking off Garnacho early and dropping Rashford for Antony better bring about results, or you look delusional.

    I am quite confident about tonight I have to say. Whatever our problems we are still better than Chelsea.
     
    The Brazilian Pele is in for Rashford. Its clear his confidence is returning, and chelsea wont know what hit them
     
    Must be the most confident Chelsea have felt against us for a while, they owe us a beating too.
     
    Finding it really hard to predict this one. Could quite easily end up being a drab, goalless affair. Wonder what our record is like for midweek league games.

    Would love Antony to get a goal or two tonight.

    I wouldn't exactly put it that way. However, ten Hag is very much a reactive manager than a proactive one.

    For example, we beat Liverpool and he goes with the exact same team against Brentford, although the two teams play completely different.
