    Sancho has been Chelsea's best player. Gifted them a chance, constantly gave the ball away, offered no threat.

    That time when he demanded the ball while stood 3 yards offside with the whole line to look down was the cherry on the cake.
     
    we need a striker - but its cool to see us playing like this again since ages. if we can get martial back we will be a force
     
    Similar to the Spurs game. Been the dominant side, so much so that Potter had to make a change. All we need is that goal but we must be careful we don't get caught by a Chelsea side who have looked better since they made the change.

    It's not exactly because he's done anything wrong. But he is just... well, boring. He just doesn't really do anything in particular.
     
    Since Kovacic came on, Chelsea have been winning most of the second balls.
     
    Weve been the better team and it’s a good performance. Our lack of a decent goal scorer up front is the main problem, but we knew that. In most other ways we did well - defence looked on it, midfield looked sharp and we kept them worrying with our attacks. Disappointed not to be one nil up but there we are.

    Very interested to see how ETH responds to their tactical change that has allowed them to start to control midfield. I think second half we might revert to counter attack rather than trying to wrestle back possession.
     
    We are trying to over pass in the final third. Antony should have scored. I thought he scored too.
     
    Good first half. Chelsea growing into it in the last 10 minutes after the sub and a tweak to their formation. Hopefully that will stop any complacency settling in and gives ETH half time to address their changes.

    Dalot has been excellent again so far. Antony looking sharp bar the miss toward the end.

    Would like to see Garnacho on for Sancho.

    We desperately need an upgrade on Rashford as a striker. It's just not his game. (Hoping for a reverse jinx here to make myself look like a tool).

    Agree Bruno would be very good there. Sancho disappointing again and he knows it. Martial back and it's the bench for him.
     
    Poor finishing letting us down again, we should've made our possession count. Now with Kovacic Chelsea are getting much more of the ball and creating much more. Half time came at the right moment for us as we need to change something to counter their change.

    What that would be I don't know. But I know Sancho needs to go off. I'd try swapping wings for like 10 mins before we get one of Elanga or Garnacho on. I'd be tempted to get Fred on to counter Kovacic but Eriksen has played well enough. It's not his fault he can't run like a 25 year old.

    This is finely balanced and I fear one feck up is all that will take for a team to lose this match. Gotta give credit to Potter, he has made this match seem much more competitive with that change.

    Same thing in the game against Tottenham. Sancho is a level below in the attacking phases but he's not a liability.
     
    It’s a long time since we’ve seen United dominate the first half of an away game like that against Top 4 rivals. We deserve the lead but the improvement in performance is the key take away at half-time.
     
    I’m really liking what I’m seeing from this team. We just lack that cutting edge but that’s normal because Rashford is not a CF. I genuinely think they players are playing the way ETH wants to play. It’s actually clicking and I love it
     
    Well we were dominant for most of the half and had few very good chances but coudn't convert them. Rashford is just not great finisher and it showed again.

    Chelsea got better since Kovačić came on so it'll be much harder in the 2nd half. We don't really have attacking options from the bench, do we? Fred and McTominay are the only ones I can see coming on at some point.
     
    Unfortunately Potter is a good coach and corrected his formation in the 1st half. Till then we completely dominated the game, now its a 50/50 game. Still, very positive half. Can't remember us playing as good as against Spurs and now Chelsea against top 6 teams in the last years. When we won, we never really dominated.

    Rashford played good but we are really in need for a striker with a good hold-up. This limits us a lot.

    Enjoy this while it lasts man. Not sure Eriksen and Casemeiro can do this for too many years, and i fear if they will get it right again!

    Jokes apart, ETH's tactics and coaching are really showing. You can see how much we dominated the game based on how Chelsea came into the match only after they changed formation (i.e. gave us something different than what we were prepared for).

    Absolutely, looking very promising.
     
    Hook Sancho for Garnacho or Fred. Fred can play the Matuidi role off the left and help the midfield or unleash Garnacho. Sancho has been useless.
