    If Di Maria played, he would've been up front. He can't play as a holding midfielder and neither can Fellaini or Herrera. Rooney is pretty much the only one capable.
     
    Expected lineup but i was part hoping for Di Maria. I suppose without Carrick or Blind we cant have someone giving the ball away against this lot.
     
    Well I got a perfect 11 this week. :lol: Hopefully we can get a point at least, huge game for Rooney and McNair.
     
    Could possibly go to a 4-2-3-1 with that lineup, but expecting Rooneys gonna be filling the DM role in a 4-3-3

    I'd be shocked if Di Maria starts the game in the bench. Even if we park the bus and play for the one counter (originally typed cunter) Di Maria is a far more lethal threat.
     
    Shut down Hazard and you shut them down I think. Everyone has to be on their game if we want to get anything out of this one I think, Chelsea will look to grind out a result and will keep it tight. Would be happy with a point.
     
    It's the team that I expected since yesterday's news. Not ideal, but it's the best that we can do in the circumstances.

    I'm not sure really. I think I'd prefer Fellaini as DM and Di Maria to play further forward. Anyway hopefully I'm wrong
