Not a chance - Anfield or Etihad only options for us.This free kick was lucky though. But again, 1st half, Ole got it right, we did not concede, and we even managed to go ahead. It's always the 2nd half we need to be careful, we have this mental disconnect that needs to be addressed urgently. But if we do, I can't see us losing many games, or even drawing. We are ahead most of the time at half time in my opinion.I don't particularly care about this tournament, but this will be huge for our confidence. Also, starting to pick up away wins now is nice.
A bit worrying that our squad is getting stretched a bit thin, especially in midfield and attack. Every time a player looks to be hobbling I feel worried about an injury.
We definitely need new players soon, for both improvement and depth.I find it quite shocking people have discussed McTomminay is set for a career as a mid table PL player, he was absolutely brilliant tonight. Owned the midfield from start to finish- Status
