Strangely, I'm not really "feeling" this game yet. Not really excited nor nervous about it. Probably because I expect nothing from this game. It's such a difficult ground for us to win at, and it won't change today.

    Chelsea to win 2-0.

Think he will either start with Herrera or on the bench. Herrera will be there to do a job on Hazard again.
I really doubt it. You don't pull the same trick twice. Think we'll either go with the Spurs plan with Fellaini on the bench or try something entirely new - maybe copy what Roma did against Chelsea.

Put Fellaini as a starter, Jose's surprise for this game it seems.

    David
    Bailly - Smalling - Jones
    Valencia - Herrera - Matic - Young
    Fellaini
    Lukaku - Rashford

That's nearly the same formation that beat them last season, Matic for Pogba and Lukaku are the only significant changes I guess.

Would love that team. What I really don't want to see is Mkhi, Bakayoko and Kante will have a field day robbing him of the ball.

Feeling quite confident. Will win by 3 goals. Lukaku, Martial the scorers.

And we've reached the peak with the overrating of Fellaini, congratulations everyone.

Though maybe this isn't the peak, now I think about it. If he misses one more month, he'll be declared our best ever player, probably.
Lucas Leiva syndrome is strong with Fellaini, it seems.

To be fair everyone was up in arms about going to Anfield and playing for a draw, I'm still on the fence. However, given our amazing record at Stamford Bridge, I think a draw would be a good result today.

If we're serious about challenging City for the title, a win would be massive and a must though. Over to you, Jose.

I have a feeling we are all in for a surprise. Pogba and Fellaini on the bench today.

Right Jose. Lets take them on today. Stand toe to toe. Look them square in the eye. Attack them from the off. We are Manchester United not Burnley.

No? Ok, any chance of not playing with 10 men behind the ball all day?

The annoying thing will be we will have to sit through City easily beating Arsenal first of all, and basically going nine points clear, (if you include their GD as an extra point), thus making a win today even more imperative.

I'm quite confident, fabregas worries me a bit tho ( if he plays ). I do nt think we can afford to sit back & give him the freedom to start pulling strings.

    Chelsea to win 2-0.

I think same, Chelsea going for a rebound before the international break, United falling flat after a very good and tiring October spell.

Why can't Chelsea fall flat, they have played a similar amount of games this month to us, and our coming off the back of a very poor performance in the Champions League, whereas we are coming off of a win.

I don't really get the negativity.

Come on boys, lets have some positive thinking for a change.

Mourinho to pull off a Mourinhoesque win at the Bridge like in the days of old. Lukaku to come up big.

It's called momentum, United recently did very well overall and have their house in order, while Chelsea need a win or the break will be stormy for both the coach and the players. Sure, United should go full cylinders and put them to the sword to knock them out for good, but are you realistically expecting that, based on Mourinho attitude in this kind of games and the fact half your squad is out for injury?

While we're hobbled by our team selection, there's no other manager in the world I'd rather be gong into this fixture with.

It may not be pretty, but it will be winnable and we'll use every inch of our ability to get something from it. Be that 1 or 3 points.

Who said anything about going full pelt?

All that I have said is why the negative viewpoint on today's match?
We can certainly win there, and it isn't as if they are full of confidence currently is it?
We are in much better form then they are.

A good solid base, with the ability to create a few chances of our own, and bish an away win can easily be achieved.

All this talk of Chelsea wanting or needed to win, so they will, is strange, do we not need the win ourselves??

I definitely can't see Fellaini starting, he simply can't be match-fit. Maybe play the last 20 minutes unless things go really awry and a big change is needed earlier.

As with everyone else, I don't see this being much of a game.
Although, strategically, if he's going to use him, makes much more sense to start him to grab hold of the game earlier and then exchange him for a different kind of player later on. Unless he's an attacking option on the bench, instead of Zlatan, to go up if we're chasing the result.

What about Kanté, will he be match fit and start? Are both managers bluffing?

Well, Mourinho really did it, in the FA Cup and then the home game. Of course, the first time it failed so much it might not have counted and people didn't notice it. But I share your doubts we're relying so much on that today.

I think we'll really go for it today.

    -----------------------DDG
Valencia Darmian Jones Bailly Smalling Rojo Blind Young
    ----------------------Matic

    ---------------------Lukaku

Obviously, Lukaku will need to work back and help out our defence a bit.
Rojo won't be asked to run. At all. But what other choice is there? We can't risk Luke Shaw getting into the Chelsea half and disrupting our shape.

1-0 united. Martial in the 97th minute.

A few rumours on Twitter that Luiz isn't playing today after a falling out with Conte, following the Roma match, with Christensen replacing him.

    ---------------de Gea
    -------Bailly - Jones - Smalling
    Valencia - Herrera - Matic - Young
    Mkhitaryan-----------------Rashford
    -----------------Lukaku

Although Lingard is not the same kind of player as Lukaku, there's a big change there.

I would like soooo much to see Jose jumping up and down like mad man, like Conte did last year. But worried, if he jumps into crowd section, he'll get beaten, our away boys are far away. Oh well, he can jump, does not have to do it near Chelsea fans.
Nah, he won't jump, will be respectfull towards home fans.

Why is being animated on the touchline seen as a good thing??

Quite confident about this. Predicting a 0-2 win with Mourinho masterclass.
Not so sure, that was last season's home game. Now is Conte to play his hand. Let's see if Mourinho's not surprised by it and reacts quickly.

We're falling flat precisely when Pogba recovers?
