You can ditch the almost from that last sentence of the first point, mate. We have capable players, we just needed someone to tell them that it’s OK to go out and play.Two major things we wouldn't see if Jose were still here:
1. Intensity from the start. Closing down from the front from the start. Commitment and drive from the start. The difference in intensities in this first half compared to every other game this season is staggering. It almost makes it look like keeping our foot off the gas at the start of games was an actual conscious decision from Mourinho.
2. Mourinho would have had the team all back defending and trying to hold the lead until half time. And beyond. No way do we get back on the front foot after conceding like we have here.
And we've also seen every outfield player on the pitch make a positive forward run.
