    If I remember correctly during yesterdays press conference when he was naming the 10 injured players, Herrera was one of them

    I wasn't here for the presser, but I had a mate brief me on what LvG said. Are you sure he wasn't talking about all players that have been injured since the official start of the season, even the ones that've come back?
     
    Can't wait for us to be able to name a full strength side.

    Hasn't happened in my time as a United fan yet, so looking forward to it when it comes...

    I'm pretty sure, you can watch the video in the press conference thread he names 9 injured players at this time but alot will return after the international break, most probably Herrera is one of them
     
    People on here should give Anderson a break. Seems like a sound bloke. And he wasn't bad in the MK D debacle. Hope he scores today.

    That is a striker away from a full XI that LvG doesn't have to choose from.

    Not to mention Cleverley and Welbeck are linked with moves away so their availability is uncertain.

    Regardless of the opposition this is going to be tough today. I hope Di Maria can provide that spark of creativity this is so badly missing from the middle of the field as it seems our midfielders neither have the capability to pick a pass forward or instigate quick incisive play. As its early days though I wouldn't expect a dominate performance. A scrappy 1-0 for me

    The real world of putting out a team is as far away from fandom as it is possible to get. It's not individual performance as much as it's team effort. You need grafters as well as creatives. You need team cohesion. Supporters know this. Fans often don't. Respect for Fletcher too please.

    Similar to mine, but with Young in for Di Maria, and Herrera in for Januzaj.

    I second this. He was not as terrible as some make. If anything the whole team were collectively bad & I think he's better than today's fletcher and cleverley. Imo if it were not for injuries he'd have made a much better player than he currently is. He can be moved on now cause he seem unable to keep fit, that and only that should be the only reason behind it not the other way around.

    Yeah that is much more sensible. His prediction is way too attacking and lacks defensive balance. Though I'm not sure if Young is a better defender than Di Maria. Probably not.

    I want to see us change to a 4-3-3 today like this:

    Di Maria is reportedly ready to play, Herrera isn't and Rojo is ineligible.

    I am expecting that to be our line-up except Evans for Smalling, as word is Smalling is still injured.
