Good stuff so far. We look surprisingly excellent energetic considering the midweek game. But I guess there has been a lot of changes. Very professional away performance so far.

Given the context of the situation, this is better imo. The squad is depleted and playing a game every three days. To be able to rotate this much and still be 2-0 at half time when many of these players are tired from 120min on Thursday night, is quite extraordinary. Against Burnley too, the best home record in the league (I think).

I have been a big fan of Zlatan this year but Chelsea without him - movement. Back to using him vs Anderlecht and we was ponderous and slow. Without him again today and back to free flowing.

Possibly something in it.

He's given away needless fouls but defensively he's been great. Haven't noticed him going forward tbh.

I think he is the same as when we bought him. He was already one of the top highly rated midfielders in Spain so I doubt I'll be eating too many sentences as he is merely playing to his ability, after being abused by previous managers. He will never be world beater though, as he does have an erratic side to his game

No I think it's going to be Rooney's goal. It's only when the shot would miss the goal and it deflects off an opponent into the net that it gets registered as an own goal.

I enjoy listening to Carragher. He's an insightful pundit and ranks higher that Neville in my estimations.
