Brighton's lineup is... pretty awful, to be honest. And with De Zerbi heading out after the game... There's no reason not to win this now, even with McTominay starting.

Wait, actually there is a reason - avoiding the Conference League.

The last 2 teams United have put out have amazingly had some defensive balance in the side.

Including Amrabat and McTom, pushing Bruno out of the midfield 3.

Solid if not the most sexy looking team.

Expecting Hojlund to be benched vs City. Maybe Rashford will play up front. Cas def playing cb beside Licha in final. Prob good for Amad's prospects of starting FA Cup, which he deserves.

Casemiro starting at centre back while having Evans and Varane on the bench? Would have rested Garnacho for next weeks FA Cup final

I'd like us to get Conference League. We are a mid table team with a lot of players who need minutes to develop and I'd rather have us to watch on a Thursday than nobody at all because I feel like we're above that.

If we keep players like Amad, Kambwala etc round the squad then they'll get valuable minutes in Europe

Højlund on the bench again? Why?
    Looked ok last time?

To be honest, when he plays v decent teams, he gets so little service/touches, that its almost a waste of one player (nothing about him personally).

Brightons a different matter but practicing a “no 9” tactic isn’t the end of the world if helps next week.

Højlund on the bench again? Why?
Because having a false 9 against City might actually be more beneficial than a striker who, obviously has a lot of potential, but will be up against one of the best defences in Europe in City and might end up being anonymous again. You saw how influential Bruno was in the last game, it's a good decision imo.

Casemiro at centre back though :(

Let's win this convincingly and injury-free please. Enough negativity on my part. Two games to go.

Just when, and how, did Casemiro become the preferred CD. I mean, we have 3 CDs on the bench. WTF.

Think he might be for the Cup Final too. Our slim chance vs City depends on us being solid, packing the midfield and taking the gamme deep. So we are probably trying it vs City.

My take on it as well.

Based on Amad's performances in the last couple of games, he should be starting in the EPL next season, nevermind getting ''valuable minutes in Europe'', especially if we don't sign a winger.

What are people watching? United or are we following Arsenal and 115s instead?

Our average positions against Newcastle. Despite what was said about Fernandes and McTom, Mainoo 37 was as far forward as McTominay 39

In effect its a 4-1-2 and then Bruno and the wingers were about as far forward as each other

Either injuries are dictating the line-up, or he is planning to set up like this in the cup final (hopefully without Casemiro).

What I have been saying: the tactics are the same as before. Amrabat suddenly doing well is one of the differences.

Feck me, they are showing City, Arsenal and Liverpool on TV here. Disgrace. Have to find a crappy stream.

Disgrace to show the Liverpool game just to see Klopp's last game.

United vs Brighton is the last game for twice as many managers.

FFS the udinese match is in hundredth minute on Supersport while they argue a penalty. Fekkin get off. channel blockers

Which makes you wonder why he did not become more pragmatic earlier on in the season when it was painfully obvious we were so open all the time. What a waste.

Can’t understand ETH with Casemiro playing at Cb
    For what?
