Weve never won at the AMEX or even scored a goal there in front of a crowd except for when we lost there 3-2 in 2018.

Not even scored a goal there in front of a crowd? I don’t think that’s true, but that’s really fecking bad. Brighton are our bogey team.

No in front of a crown, not one goal in front of a queen or king. Disgusting really.

I used to like the days when we handed debuts to players on the last game of the season.

Rumours I heard on TUS that Martinez, Amrabat and Amad starts, with Garnacho benched. Makes sense if ETH wants to give the players a chance to fight for a starting spot in the FA Cup.

Feels like we always end the season away from home against a team wearing Blue and White.
    Wigan, Huddersfield, Brighton.

Happy birthday! Looks like your pre-game wishes are about to come true.
    Cheers!

Saw your post and it seems like Garnacho is being rested. I've said that I've wanted a front 6 of Amrabat, Mainoo, Bruno, Amad, Garnacho and Hojlund for the majority of the season now, and we've yet to see it, so it'd be funny if the one time we finally played them together this season ends up being in the final against City!

He starts. I'm satisfied with today's team, just disappointed that Hojlund doesn't start.

And Garnacho badly needs a rest, he's been flogged this season.

    [Edit] scratch that, he's starting!

Good to see Licha back and Varane on the bench. Amrabat and Amad deserve their spot.

Yeah, I like today's team, too. Amad and Amrabat playing, Martinez returning. I was hoping Hojlund would start after his superb goal, though.

Seems like McTominay could end up being our CF for the final!

Glad to see Martinez back, hopefully we're not rushing him too soon. It's bizarre that he starts with Casemiro consider the fact we've 3 CBs on the bench.

I'm glad to see Amad and Amrabat continue as they've done well recently. Hojlund on the bench again is a bit odd though, he must be nursing something.

    Casemiro still at CB ffs.

If he has to start against City next week in the Final then thank the football gods that it's not his first start at CB.

Rather he went into that game having played 4 games (albeit badly) at CB rather than none or one game 3 weeks ago.

Reckon Varane will get some game time today in preparation for the cup final. That back 4 is solid.

Hope Martínez doesn’t get injured. Need him next week. Think the plan is to bring Varane on in this game then start with them both next week.

So, Casemiro still the CB, means we will have to play him as CB against City as well?

    God help us!

Does look strange starting Casemiro at CB with three CB's now back and on the bench!

I guess Varane is working his way back, Evans keeps playing not fully fit so could do with a rest, and I suppose he doesn't fully trust the young Kambwala. It's also a chance to keep Casemiro in the team while trying to strengthen the midfield with Amrabat in there beside Mainoo. But that's coming at the cost of the defence and I'd be much more comfortable with a genuine CB partnership.
