Would be good to get rashford some minutes and Hojlund on the break will get chances

This has been horrible. The organization, the ability and the fitness levels-are all massively in Brightons' favor. They haven't been able to execute it, but they have a plan. You can see it clearly. We have zero clue how to attack. We either lose the ball in own half or lump it forward and lose it in theirs. And this is my biggest problem with EtH, we do not have a plan.

Our one counter fell to a player with terrible technical ability, McT. Him and AWB on that right side completely destroy any attack and have. We cannot have them starting games next season.

And it's just a glimpse of what it will be like in the final. That makes it even more disheartening.

As long as we have ETH as manager - I am not watching matches against City. Why would I want to ?

Support, you need to support fellow fans who are going to watch it. :D

How much time on the ball does Amrabat need ?
He's like the starter car in Gran Turismo that you have to race a bunch of times before being able to upgrade to a car that corner or accelerate. I think it really goes to show the gulf in quality of the various leagues, a big step up to the PL. Not that a bunch of cloggers couldn't get into our current team, but in general the PL is a lot higher in quality.

You guys are better fans than me. Choosing to watch this crap knowing it's going to be neither entertaining nor have any consequences.

Why are you so upset that I said he was ok in our last two games? I honestly don't get it!

If I said Amad was good in the last two games, what would you say?
Upset, you kidding me? I said the bar was set low about the signing hence the reference to Fred, not whether he'd hadnt played well in the last 2 games....

What will it take to get ETH the sack?

I thought no CL used to be a sackable offence so surely no Europe should be?

I do honestly think we'll see some change after this season is over. We're paying highly inflated wages for players who aren't performing, and the 8th place finish is actually rather fortunate. We could easily have finished slightly lower than that. We're lucky to have made it into the top 10, in my opinion. It's been that bad of a season.

The wages, the league performances, and the league finishing position are all not compatible with each other. For a team that has aspirations of challenging for the title and winning trophies to finish with a negative goal difference and 30+ points off the top spot is just not good enough. This performance today sums us up perfectly. There's nothing to us. It's uninspiring.

More insightful than yours which was based on nothing. All the stats show they've not played well. They're 16th in the league for xg during that time

I agree the xG doesn't look good. But most of the time they can easily dominate the ball and pen the opposition in which is what my claim was. The xG for me is a symptom of injuries and general lack of quality but the general play under De Zerbi is exceptional.

I guess disagree and move on. It's clear to me that if you don't build up in a 3-2 structure it's too easy to press and you are in a worse situation than having a guy like Dalot be the extra man in midfield. AWB is worse than Dalot in that regard, so I'm happy that it's Dalot.

You have to put Dalot somewhere and I don't see any alternatives from you that I can argue against.
I wouldn't put him near the midfield. I'd put Mainoo closer to Amrabat. If we had a proper technical full back then yeah it could be a good switch to overload the midfield.
That football only works if the team has a semblance of a working midfield and high level of technical anf tactical players.
It makes the good, very good but we are so far from the basic midfield play, it's a hindrance.
Besides I don't see how it helps, we are still to vulnerable anyway

    Amrabat

    Booked. 5
I know we are used to bad performances, but how could you give him more than a very generous 2? He lost basically every ball he had. This was either a dragical or a comical performance. It really looked like a pub player against professionals.

Assuming it stays a draw, by virtue of a worse goal difference, this will be our worst PL season on record. Actually worse than the Ole/Rangnick one. Incredible scenes.

What's the point of watching football if you spent 45mins of your life watching but only for 1 counter attack. The rest were watching us been properly screwed.

Can’t remember a time where I’ve genuinely felt so low about United, everything seems so laboured.. they don’t do the basics, and then constantly make stupid decisions in possession .. can’t wait for the season to end,
    something’s got to change
This is why a full reset is required
CEO, CFO, DOF, Technical Director, New Ciach, New specialist coaches and at least 14/15 out and 8/9 new players in.

Last year I prayed we would sign Mohamed Kudas instead of Mount and got laughed at on CAFE now look who was right on that one, I called out Antony for not being good enough, tbf most could see that too and ETH I called for him to be sacked at Xmas, he just needs to go be some other clubs problem now, because his stubborn nature will just continue to make his teams predictable and easy to defeat!

Across all matches, only wolves have managed to have less shots than us at the half way point

even teams losing by more than 1 goal have had opportunities. Weve created nothing. Dont even look like we might threaten

good to see these players trying to play themselves into a starting spot for the final! Oh no wait…

Yup. We all thought that was bad.

Can’t wait for 2025/26 to be even worse than this season. Hopefully not.

It’s the ratings from Manchester Evening News.

Got the United game on a second screen, but it looks like the classic dominated by much more humble outfit job.

    Role on next season!

Wolves are down to ten men at Anfield, so hardly surprising. We are just c**p.

Yes, upset. Getting all hot under the collar because I said I thought he was ok. Deary me!

Can anyone honestly say that after two seasons, they can see what Ten Hag is doing in terms of tactics?

Complete embarrassment to the name of the club which loses more and more prestige every match.

Without any doubt. 8th place and minus goal difference!? That's pretty special to oversee that at United.

Even Moyes only managed 7th, although that was with a team who cruised the title the year before, so his job overall can never be beaten for crapness.

I can’t understand not watching the team I supported
