    The annoying thing is 80% of our fans support him, they don’t support the club. The school of thought is Sanchez’s arrival has been unfair to him.

    However, the crux of the issue is simple. If Martial was pulling down trees, we wouldn’t need to sign Sanchez. If Martial was 10% as good as Mbappe, we wouldn’t need to sign Sanchez.

    He can feck off if he wants. I have never seen anyone blessed with so much talents but as lazy as Martial. He’s too basic. He never runs behind defenders, he wants to collect the ball in front of his markers and then hope for luck to get past them.

    Matic has a wit slower than earth’s revolution. It takes about 10 seconds for him to decide what he needs to do with the ball. He hangs on to the ball way too much and he has zero clue on how to protect the ball.

    He should be a back up player at best. Jose can’t win the title with many of these lots. How did we go from Keane/Scholes/Carrick to this snail? One can make a trip to Bradford & back on foot and Matic still wouldn’t have figured out what to do with the ball.

    Lukaku shows his value in this game. You don't know what you have until he's gone.
     
    Mata at right attack is just dreadful. Square or backwards pass followed by little sprint is a horrific watch. Rinse and repeat. How much better we’d look with a Mahrez or Bale out there on the right is not even funny anymore.
     
    Another game where, in the first half, we look like we’ve not got a clue.

    The problem is that this is a standard United performance this season. We probably look like this (maybe a tiny bit sharper, but not too different) in half of our games.

    Take these ratings and, apart from De Gea, cut them in half and they'd be more accurate.
     
    Not impressed with anyone bar De Gea, Smalling and Rojo. These lot need to do a lot more. Maybe they are habituated to play on back foot, play low risk football, that's why they keep making meaningless short passes with each other.

    A couple of accurate passes would be nice.

    Dunno really. This is one of those games where the result doesn't really matter, i guess, but, at the same time all of them should be playing for a place in the FA Cup Final.
     
    Put Lingard in for Mata and switch Martial to striker position. We have nothing else to do.

    He needs too. Something has to change with this team. Win Lose or draw, i'll take the result on the chin, but playing like this for most of the season is unacceptable.

    Totally agree. The performances against Spurs and Arsenal were underrated. But this one so far... Jesus. And I don’t think Pogba is that bad!!

    Come on man. Matic was great this season for us. He had one bad period but lateky he is back to his best

    Too congested in the middle again. Darmian has offered nothing going forward on the right and, as usual, Young is doing all the donkey work on the left. We've conceded possession far too often and we're finding it difficult to play though Brighton's high press. They need to speed things up and use the wings more. As for Rashford, what on earth possessed him to dawdle like that when Martial was unmarked in the middle and Mata behind him? Very sloppy decision-making that.

    Yeah, they're fighting for the same spot, thats all that matters to him at this point, probably. The results of this match matters little.

    actually think Matic has been one of the worst offenders today. Given the ball away a few times and just been really poor with the ball. Not to mention he has been beaten about 4-5 times by Knockaert.

    Fixed. Everyone is just doing their own thing without any fear of the repercussions as they have no one to answer to. There is no discipline.

    Didn't square to a team mate for an easy tap in? No problem.
    Got a simple 5-10 yard pass wrong? No problem.
    Want to take a random potshot even though there is a cat's chance in hell's chance of it getting through? No problem.
    Want to fanny around and make a mistake in defence? No problem.
    Want to kick the ball out of play for no reason? No problem.

    Imagine if there was a player like Roy Keane on the pitch. He would command the players' best or there would be problems. He would be in his teammate's ear if they put a step wrong.

    The players out there do not give a shit and it is very worrying to see. No one cares. DDG aside, we have a bunch of overpaid mercenaries masquerading as footballers, not in the slightest interested in giving their best. If I was Jose I would be absolutely livid.
     
    Games like these show we are not a top top team, have too many average players, lack flair and have a very long way to go. I find it ridiculous that we’re 2nd in the league to be honest, in a good way of course, especially as Pool and Spurs have had seemingly brilliant seasons. Not only are we ahead, even 8 points in front of Pool if we win tonight. Weird shit

    Need more movement up top. Rashford has been trying. Martial has been stationary and Mata has found the wrong spaces.
