Gary needs to realise this is a half paced dead, end of season game with half of our starting 11 rested.
It would make his commentary tolerable instead of this Arsenal lite, feck Xhaka routine we are hearing anow

Why would martial deserve to be permanently on bench?

    He’s massively overrated!

The annoying thing is 80% of our fans support him, they don’t support the club. The school of thought is Sanchez’s arrival has been unfair to him.

However, the crux of the issue is simple. If Martial was pulling down trees, we wouldn’t need to sign Sanchez. If Martial was 10% as good as Mbappe, we wouldn’t need to sign Sanchez.

He can feck off if he wants. I have never seen anyone blessed with so much talents but as lazy as Martial. He’s too basic. He never runs behind defenders, he wants to collect the ball in front of his markers and then hope for luck to get past them.

There’s no football intelligence in him.

I'd sub Rashford at half-time just to teach him a lesson. You cannot piss around at this level .

At this point of the season with nothing to play for in the league why can’t we just just play youth, at least it’d be somewhat entertaining then.

    The first team are shocking.

Unbelievable how bad can Pogba be. Sometimes he looks like a guy from Sunday league.

That half was laughably bad. Pogba has had some good moments on the ball but sloppy with his passing (and he looks really frustrated out there). Rashford has been beyond awful. Mata and Darmian need to be sold ASAP. Same with Rojo. Young hasn't really done anything. Martial is being almost ignored a lot of the time, but when he gets on it has been decent. Fellaini nothing much. Matic sloppy.

De Gea quality obviously. We've been fecking outplayed by Brighton  These are the sort of games where play style really does matter. You would think we can put out something more then this, yet this is our norm.

This first half has been attrocious in practically aspect. I'm all for positivity but sometimes you have to call a spade a spade.

Well everyone seems to have forgotten that our opponents just had 2 very good games against Arsenal and Tottenham and nobody is a pushover in the PL.

Fellaini man. Jose can be angry all he wants but this is the wrong game for him. If we’re going to outnumber them in midfield at least do it with 3 proper midfielders.

Also Mata has turned to shit hasn’t he?

Calm down people. This is classic game when result pressure is off. In fa cup we will be fine

Is there any truth in the rumour that the Pitch Drop experiment is going to be our shirt sponsor next season?

Oh and speaking of next season, we really need the ability to give players 0/10 ratings.

No chance we win this game with Rashford upfront. We're absolutely hopeless with him as a striker. Switch him with Martial to have any chance.

I'm not even sure I like any of these players that much.

Much to sort out, Rashford, Pogba, Fellaini and Mata have been a joke.

With posts like these, you lose all credibility. Just a quick FYI.

After 2 years, I still have no clue as to what kind of football we are trying to play. And more worrying is that the players don't seem to have a clue either.

just get it done with games please so I can enjoy transfer window and be fantasizing that we are terrorizing league with new two fullbacks, two world-class CB & CM and maybe RW.

That'd be a sound argument were in not for the fact that we've seen so many similar, abject displays this season.

I wonder what Dwight Yorke thinks of that first half, eh?

So much guff gets written about this Man Utd, halves like this should sober people up.

We are constantly told that our players are better than what we see. However, if that was the case, why have we failed to finish above fourth place since Fergie retired?

Maybe looking good in a sixth placed team is little more than that? Maybe some of the players we have would be brilliant at Europa League level but above that...?

Awful so far. Flat midfield. Poor decision making from the front three. Maybe Jose isn't a 'bully', maybe he just expects more from a team that is supposedly so very good?

Still can't wrap my head around what Rashford was thinking with not passing to Martial, couldn't let Martial score over him?

Highlight of the half was Smalling hitting the bong.

    amen brother...at last.

Everyone has been shit except maybe Matic. I have been fairly critical of Mourinho but this one is on the players. Their effort so far has been nothing short of criminal. The complete lack of runs off the ball, static, no effort, just sideways and backwards passing. I would make 3 subs in halftime.

But we can say that for about 20 games this season now. Something is not right with the way we are set up and the way that the players are coached. We don't look motivated at all.

Honestly don't think Rashford would start up top for any single team in the league if he were to go out on loan. On the wing, plenty. Maybe even in a front 2 in some places, but absolutely nowhere in the premier league as a lone striker. He can't play the role at all.
