We’re “rubbish” and “a poor team” but this is “our cup final” :boring: so you never know….
We are just a bus stop in Hounslow inject the arrogance and belittlement straight into my veins ;)

That being said we aren’t playing the same way we did when we started the season so a good time to play us. Game under the lights should make for a cracking atmosphere will be in the pub early doors for this one!

Hounslow who you kidding pal, it's Kew. You posh bastards ;)

I think there's a decent chance you're this year's team who sink rapidly second half and go down.
    Sorry I've said it now.

With a bit of luck we have a chance of securing an away draw against this newly promoted side.

Wait, that's where Brentford is? Now that I look it up, opposite the river from the Botanical Garden? Means I've actually seen it.

For some reason I thought it was some town in the Midlands or so.

    6 matches until A.Madrid.

United need to stop being shit and build on the 1st half performance against Villa.

Ralf needs to settle on a system that has Ronaldo in the team and doesn't get overrun in the midfield.

    Disappointed in you ;)

I think we will be fine though to be honest Having the points on the board already....

No we are not in Kew ;) we are in Hounslow, West London, its wonderful.....

Yup, their new stadium is in Kew, a really nice and posh part of West London. They used to be based just down the road in Brentford, West London. I think they moved stadium in 2020.

Feels the trickiest team to predict in quite a while:
    • Shaw vs Telles
    • Dalot vs AWB
    • Maguire to come back in?
    • McT to come back in?
    • Ronaldo ready?
    • Who plays wide?

I've not only given up trying to predict a score/result.... I can't even predict if we'll turn up and for how long...

Brentford’s fourth defeat in five league games. What better way to get back on track than a game against United.

I can see them beating us.
I remember Watford were wretchedly bad, coming into the match against us.
They hadn't won in a long time and could not score more than 1 goal.
    They beat us 4-1.

I genuinely don't know which way this will go. We've obviously been pants but Brentford are on a losing run of their own aren't they?

I have little doubt that Shaw will be back in the side, Maguire to replace Lindy, McT back in midfield, Elanga will start, Greenwood will start, No idea who will start up top given lack of performers.

I find the apathy from some a bit odd. Despite not playing well and the frustration that brings, we are at least trying new things.

Don't people find the implementation of a new style however gradual to be of a curious interest?

Ronaldo. Ronaldo will always start unless the game is meaningless or hes injured. I wouldn't be surprised if its in his contract.

I just want to play a team with balance, due to our midfielders being B2B or attacking midfielders, we need to compensate that and not make it worse by trying to then play 2 up front and wonder why they get no service. We have to play our best players and right now that's Bruno & DDG so building around that, Bruno will not hold a position and if Ronaldo HAS to play then they are effectively 2 up top due to how Bruno plays so I'd go with something like the below in the short term to pick up points:

    DDG
    Lindelof Varane Shaw
    Dalot Matic Fred VDB Telles
    Bruno
    Ronaldo
With that, the midfield is protected, we have an extra CB and our WB's are genuine WB's and we can expect them to create width

However I am sure we will do the same thing that didn't work and return the serial underperformers like Rashford & Maguire straight back in the same top heavy formation (with out players)

    DDG
    Dalot Maguire Varane Shaw
    Fred Mctominay
    Sancho Bruno Rashford
    Ronaldo

I remember the energy Brentford played with in their opening home game against Arsenal, and I could see something similar here with United coming to town. Need to be prepared for a game with very high intensity.

Not looking forward to this tbh.
They've looked better than us a times this season so depends which Brentford turns up.
    And they're at home.

I think that excitement does exist. The first 30 minutes of Villa saw our most controlled and composed game in months. I genuinely enjoyed that part of the game and we should’ve been up 2 or 3 nil. With that said, when you consider the excitement preseason, the Varane introduction, Ronaldo’s return, Sancho etc., which has all come crashing down, you can understand the apathy and anger.

    I expect it to be:

    ..................... De Gea

    Bissaka - Varane - Maguire - Shaw

    .............. McTominay - Fred

    Greenwood - Fernandes - Sancho

    ...................... Ronaldo

Does this exist? I get a painfully boring loss or draw - but a win is never painful. At most you come away thinking "that was shite, but a win's a win".

If you find pain in a United win then no one can help you.
Well we're anti-football cesspit and have been for years so it makes no real difference from a visual perspective in my opinion.

It's viewing the match that can be painful. If it's a poor match it's still a painful watch even if you come away with a 2-1 or a 1-0 against Brentford (the joy).

feck off and try a different sport then.

    Utd are playing.
Here come the, "thank you Glazers. May I have another buggering" brigade. Should we accept that our owners couldn't give a shit about the football as long as they're selling shirts and sponsorships and are only set up as an ATM for it's corrupt owners? Would you tell a battered woman to be just be glad some bloke was willing to bang her? Of course we will support our team under any and all circumstance but we shouldn't give these parasites any of our money until they turn over complete control of the football operations to competent FOOTBALL management. Nothing will ever change until these owners feel it in their balance sheet. That will start if we lose out on European football which is VERY possible at this rate.
