I don’t think he was tripped though, it’s a coming together, which knocked him off balance. It’s a contact sport at the end of he day, so it’s open to interpretation.

I always try and look at penalty shouts from the other side, if it was against us would I be pissed off to see that awarded? Yes, I think I would be.
A coming together of the tackling leg and the trailing leg of the attacker. That's a trip.

If that was given against us I'd call our player an idiot for making a challenge like that.

I'd blame our defensive errors this season for having such bad results. This is yet another huge mistake and stupid goal we concede.

Lindelöf is absolutely useless. Worthless player.
You'd have to go to the nadir times of the 80s to find a Utd starting line up with so many subpar players. Minimum 5 in the starting line up today.

Wan Bissaka should be touch tight there with King. Instead he's closed the gap late and worse he's not got square with him, he makes a weird movement to the right and gives him room to easily turn him.

James and Rashford have been decent.

Martial today showing why I don’t always long for his return to the starting 11 like most do. Technically he’s quality but doesn’t influence the game enough (see James)

Perreira needs to come off to be replaced by anybody who can hold the ball to bring our forwards into the game more often. I’d even consider swapping him for Lingard at this rate

People blaming De Gea for the goal are either on crack or are deliberately looking to criticize him.

Funny how people get freekicks for the same shit Martial did not get a penalty for. In the same game.

But ey, as one here said; we can't keep relying on penalties. We sure as hell can't give away free goals like this one. King could just stand there in the middle of 3 defenders and do whatever he wanted. Pathetic defending.

Our defense is highly overrated. Get Smalling back.
agreed with all you said.. then you spoilt all your thoughts but suggesting smalling

Horrendous playing conditions to be fair, and that typically favours the weaker side in a game like this. Unfortunately, we just haven't been able to take advantage. :D

All we are missing in this match is a good AM. Andreas does just not have enough quality. Maybe Pogba can fill in there, or we MUST buy an AM.

That's mental. He's come out to smother it, in that space of time he cannot possibly react. In fact, the fact that it's that close to his body makes it harder to save.
Ok maybe I'm being harsh and reactive. I stand by the statement that he's been bang average for over a year though. Based on performances he's not even a top 5 GK in the league, let alone the world.

I like Andreas but I think he's the sole reason behind our inability to break Bournemouth, he's been awful.

Martial having to play both striker and attacking midfielder because Andreas Pereira is just there to do cardio

My biggest disappointment for the goal was Lindelof trying to close off a lay off rather than play the forward and close him down.
I didn't notice that at first. AWB shouldn't have tried to win the ball there and should have just stayed goal side and wait for King to move, but Lindeloff definitely should have stayed to back up AWB. AWB forced King into the position where Lindeloff "should" have been...

Truly the worst no.10 I've ever seen to play for this club, and apparently he's a regular starter this season
Yeah, let's bring on Lingard instead, because you can't have a bad game on the ball if you spend the entire game hiding from the ball!

I know AWB should have been much stronger there, but why wasn’t one of our centre backs on king? It was their area of the pitch

I said about half way into the half we should just switch Martial and Rashford just to give them something different to contend with. Ole's in game management is really questionable

We havent got anyone in midfield who could give us abit of creative spark. When Pogba is out we're well and truly fecked in that area.
I'm afraid pogba doesn't do it either... need two world-class midfielders

Midfield hasn't been good enough on the ball, we need a bit if composure and we should be able to turn this around. The defending for the goal was diabolical though, AWB can't be bullied like that and Lindelöf shouldn't have left his position. Both deserve a slap!
45 mins left, we need to be more from our midfield, it's far from over.
It it is also very poor from Maguire to force AWB in to that position. You can see how uncomfortable Bissaka was there. I don’t really understand why he just left his position.

Maguire - Tuanzebe when he's back from injury
yeah, but Rojo has more experience and aggression as well. If Rojo gets back to the player he was before doing his knee, he can be a good option. But the point is Lindeloff is not up to the challenge.
