I actually like the side. Martial and Rashford in the favorite position. Lets see if they are what they are

If we play Fellaini as a deeper midfielder - disaster waiting to happen

If we play Pogba deeper and Fellaini further forward then I'm ok with that.

Herrera will be the deeper midfielder with Pogba and Fellaini ahead of him most probably.

Decent attacking side bar Fellaini! Good to see pogba start and try get going “again”. There’s alot of flexibility and speed up front which is good. Them 3 will change positions and drag Bournemouths back 4 all over the place, hopefully!

    Smalling and jones though :nono:

90 mins of Darmian. I for one cannot wait
He has that accountant wibe going on

I was only joking when I suggested we'd go at them with our slowest team involving Fellaini and Darmian, because it sounded too ridiculous to happen.

And then there was Fellaini and Darmian in the team.

With Darmian playing on the right side, better for Shaw to show the best attacking intent he can do otherwise we'll still lack width.

Even if Shaw, Darmian, Rashford have superb performances today, I doubt we will see them against Spurs. Do anybody genuinley believe these 3 can keep their places against Spurs irrespective of their performances today.

Damn. I had a feeling that Mourinho would change up his fullbacks after the weekends showing, but thought it would be Blind that might come in. Not sure what the point of Darmian is, he's probably worse going forward than Valencia. Obviously Blind would have been at the expense of Shaw though.

Matic, Lukaku, Sanchez, Valencia, Young, Mata all out of starting XI.

Certainly giving players a chance to cement a starting slot, not sure why anyone would include Darmian, as he's as good as gone and doesn't look at all interested in anything other than going shopping with his Mrs. Hope the players take their chances and no one moans about the needing a regular run to look decent....

have a test coming up so was gonna give this game a miss but this line up has me extremely intrigued.

Darmian, Jones, Fellaini, Shaw and Blind from the bench back out of nowhere. I like the attack though. Always get excited for our games when I see Lingard - Rashford - Martial playing together.

Actually both in terms of the midfield and attack, I like this side. Hopefully Shaw does well at left back, Darmian is trash at right back so don't expect anything down our right side since Lingard is also shit as a right winger.

Martial to get a couple and both him and Rashford to have really good performances - but then one or both to get dropped for the FA Cup semi's because Lukaku has to be the main striker always and Sanchez must start on the left.

Why are Fellaini, Darmian and Shaw starting? If they're more or less certain to leave? Why not give McTominay or Joe Riley a start?

Rashford definitely could. Shaw might, depending on how annoyed Mourinho was at Young's (or Valencia, depending on which one he thought was worse) performance on the weekend.

    11/11 !

Kidding aside, that's an interesting lineup. Mata out of the squad and Sanchez dropped to the bench. Assuming Lukaku is being rested.

Nice chance for Martial and Rashford to get a semi final appearance. Play well today and they should get in Saturday's team. It's a nice strategy from Mourinho. I'm looking forward especially to seeing Martial play in a full game. Hope the fans show him how much he's wanted at the club, too.

Love the lineup outside of Fellaini, but without McTominay available who else could he have picked
