Touch it 3 feet in front of him and there's no danger. He tried to control it to his feet and that brought in the pressure. Not every ball will be perfect, but as a midfielder this is a basic skill. You need to know where your markers are and where to make your first touch to. There's a time to control it and a time to touch into space. This was not the time to control it...
