This isn’t to absolve us of anything but that is a constant issue for us and has been for years. It’s incredible the amount of times we get 3-4 fouls against us and then get the first card.

People dismiss it because it’s not a big moment like a penalty or red card but it really changes the dynamics of a game. If Barkley and a couple of other Villa players were booked then they can’t make risk a foul. It makes your attackers more threatening.
