    Romero
    Darmian--McNair/Evans--Blind--Shaw
    Bastian--Schneiderlin
    Mata--Memphis--Pereira
    Chicharito

    Subs: Januzaj,Herrera and Wilson

Rooney and Smalling rested for CL qualifier.

Rested after playing one game.....yeah feck that.

Wouldn't mind seeing Pereira start, and McNair. Memphis needs to play out wide, just swap him with Mata and then they're both in their favoured positions! It was like last year when Di Maria played upfront and Rooney played in a midfield 3 (where Di Maria excelled the year before at Real). Stop trying so hard to be unorthodox and overly tactical, Louis.

Romero; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Carrick, Schneiderlin; Mata, Depay, Young; Rooney

    Same team as last time.

If Bacuna starts at RB for them, we can exploit that as he is suspect defensively. I expect Gestede to start this time. If we play a high-line, the pace of Agbonlahor and Sinclair can hurt us on the break.

This is the team I would go for.

    Romero
    Darmian - Smalling - Blind - Shaw
    Schneiderlin - Carrick
    Mata - Herrera - Memphis
    Rooney

    Want:

    de Gea
    Darmian Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Carrick
    Herrera Mata
    Januzaj Rooney Memphis

    Expect:

    Romero
    Damian Smalling Blind Shaw
    Carrick Schneiderlin
    Mata Memphis Young
    Rooney

We're at the beginning of the season, we had a pretty short pre season tour this year and we've an extra day rest before playing a "weaker" team, next Tuesday in Champions League, that's why I think that we'll go with exactly the same line up against Villa and Brugges also (except injuries).

I guess that there will be few changes next Saturday at home against Newcastle

I'm not a big fan of this 4-2-3-1 with static midfielders, more defensive than everything, a number 10 as a winger, a winger as number 10, and a poor Rooney upfront.... Nevertheless, I just hop that we'll be able to rise our game, our speed in this game and in our build up, at least in our attacks.... The oppenents read to easily our game and it's easy to block us, and we need to find an answer

I know how to do that (adding Herrera in the middle and Depay wide would assure us more flair)

    Darmain smalling rojo shaw
    carrick
    Mata schneiderlin herrera depay
    rooney

come one lvg, shift memphis back out wide and let him shine

We were terrible last year away from home, if we don't win there will be a meltdown of epic proportions here.

Even winning doesn't seem to prevent meltdowns of epic proportion on here these days

Normally play quiet well at Villa just hope we get more shot's on goal and not have to wait sixty minutes this time.

Is this a new thing or a one off ?
It's a one off this season. The EDL are having a march on Saturday, and the game can't be postponed to a Sunday or a Monday due to our Champions League qualifier. So it's on Friday.

2016/17 will introduce regular Friday night games.
