Would have been a ridiculous penalty but I expected it to be given. Greenwood has such a weird way of finishing, he seems to put it where the keeper just can't quite get it, they're never rifled in, or clever curling shots into the top corner.

For me it’s not a penalty and I don’t think it is by the current laws and directives anyway. The clarifications in March stated:

A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised;

Mason is already jumping in the air when the ball is last touched by another player and his arms are just where you would expect them to be. His arms weren’t positioned in a way where he had hoped to make himself bigger to block the ball.
