Freds afraid of his own touchNonsense. He passed it to Scott who didn't anticipate the pass. Fred wasn't being pressed and Troy Deeney, the great scholar of football...
For me its McTominay's fault for losing the ball in that position. Completely uncalled for and directly lead to the goal.
Fecking John McGinn would walk into our central midfield.
The entire team plays better with Cavani.
More movement means that Bruno and Pogba don't have to force the issue re: creativity. Offers much better interplay too...and a focal point...and an actual defensive contribution.
No coincidence that Bruno's 'dip' coincided with Cavani being out injured - and he picked up majorly the second he returned.
DDG has been incredibly poor this season. flapping at crosses - if he even comes from them. at times barely looked interested. and all you an manage is one save against chelsea (prior to thursday night)Christ on a stick. De Gea has clearly been better this season and just had another one of his amazing performances against Roma.
Also, go see the save he made versus Chelsea away. He's most certainly capable of saving that. I'm not saying 100% but definitely would have got close.
You can’t have 3 shites in a fractionIt was a shite pass from Fred.
Mctominay and Lindelof were both also shite.
Bruno just looks exhausted.
Rashford has looked lively today.
AWB specially. He is doing nothingIt would be nice if players moved around a little.
That's a fair summary of it.Greenwood shouldn’t have lost it, Fred should have cleared it, McT should have cleared it, Lindelof should have cleared it. All equally at fault - no need to argue about who is more at fault. They all were.
Pogba's been the worst player on the pitch so far.
Now where have we seen that before? Oh yeah Thursday against RomaThat goal was on Fred selling his midfield partner short. Lindelof wasn’t great either but Fred’s touch was awful and passive.
Exactly.Greenwood shouldn’t have lost it, Fred should have cleared it, McT should have cleared it, Lindelof should have cleared it. All equally at fault - no need to argue about who is more at fault. They all were.
Someone has been reading too much Luckhurst propaganda, it seems. If you want to see flapping have a look at Henderson against Burnley.DDG has been incredibly poor this season. flapping at crosses - if he even comes from them. at times barely looked interested. and all you an manage is one save against chelsea (prior to thursday night)
It was a hard chestfeck off that’s not a head injury.
So he became a terrible player overnight ?He’s been absolutely terrible. I’m not sure it’s exhaustion.
The thing is, he actually got a touch on the ball, but instead of clearing his lines like any sensible defender under similar circumstances, he chose to gently prod the ball into the oncoming striker's path.
Just poor defending. Schoolboy stuff.
