Falcao's goal scoring record before he joined us was very impressive. This is not some 17-18yr old making his debut, he's a highly regarded striker. A brace from him is not meant to be hopeful, it's to be expected. It would be a disappointing if he's not putting away chances and getting us goals.
Why is he already a fan's favourite?
Reputation. If Messi joins us today, he would be an instant fan favourite too. As is the case for Di Maria, or RVP before.
