My maths is awful but to my shock I find it's better than some people here... lose 4-0 and we're out! Four

Full strength first half to preserve match fitness, then 3 or 4 subs for 2nd half

This would be a good game to give minutes to some of Telles, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Williams, Donny, Diallo,... but not too many of them as they need to play with starting xi players.

    Yup, exactly this.
No need to rest players after the enforced week long period without a game, start strong, make 5 changes and we are good to go.

No your maths is absolutely correct, of course we would be out when it’s 6-10 on aggregate.

The Liverpool game being postponed probably means that this will be an almost full strength lineup.
Probably, yeah. Would love to see Amad get some lengthy game time today though.

What I'd like: DDG, Williams, Axel, Bailly, Telles, Matic, VDB, Amad, Mata, James, Greenwood

What it will be: DDG, AWB, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Pogba, Bruno, James, Cavani

Rest players ahead of Sunday please. The below should be more than enough to still win the game.

    -----------------------------------------De Gea--------------------------
    Axel------------------Lindelof---------------Bailly---------------Telles
    ----------------------------Matic-------------DVB----------------------
    Diallo-----------------------------Mata-----------------------------James
    ---------------------------------Greenwood------------------------

Get Greenwood off after an hour for Rashford. If the game is still dead then would be good to see Shoretire get a few minutes.

I expect we will go much too strong tomorrow and then be sluggish Sunday.

If we can't trust our bench to defend a 6-2 lead we have some work on our hands

    Greenwood
    James Mata Diallo
    Matic van de Beek
    Telles Bailly Tuanzebe Williams
    De Gea

Good combination of youth and experience

This all day long but I think the semi final record is playing on his mind in truth. There is experience there with DDG, Mata, Matic, VDB, Bailly, Telles, all have played European football at a high level and none of the others are so awful we would expect to lose 4 nil.

    DDG
    Williams Bailly Maguire Telles
    Matic VDB
    James Fernandes Pogba
    Greenwood

With 5 subs, we should be able to take off the more senior players on the 60th min mark.

This was pretty close my first thought at a starting XI, but Ole's not going to do that. I do think he'll start a bit stronger, probably with Greenwood on the right, Cavani in the middle, and Fred instead of VDB. AWB will probably be in RB, as well. But he will use all five subs, probably two or three at the half if we're up.

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Dean Henderson, Lee Grant, Nathan Bishop.

Defenders: Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Alex Telles, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe.

Midfielders: Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Fred, Bruno Fernandes, Amad, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay.

Forwards: Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Elanga.

Don't expect a massively weakened side despite the scoreline. I moreso expect a strong side in the first half, but more substitutions than usual (and earlier).

Journalist:; Paulo - how many matches have you left ?
    Paulo: ZRI...ZRI...sticking 3 fingers up

Brandon Williams seems to have been forgotten about. And yet, I was quite impressed with him when he broke into the team last year.
Ok. He is not as good yet as Luke Shaw, but I thought he showed a lot of promise.

Top 4 secure and nothing else to play for but this. Might as well put a good team out and ensure we keep sharp and the momentum going for Villa and the remaining games. 2nd and a Europa League trophy would be a reasonable season.

We have had a week rest so will probably play a strong side with possibly only 1 or 2 starters on the bench.

Yes he has totally disappeared. Was one of the positive surprises and now... nothing.

De Gea, AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, Fred, McTominay, Mata, van de Beek, James, Greenwood.

No need for Shaw, Bruno, Pogba, Cavani to start, neither for both of Maguire/Lindelof and Fred/McTominay but don't think Ole will rest all of starting players even if we're going into it with 6-2 lead. 5 changes available are great thing as we can see Amad Diallo get some minutes hopefully. If van de Beek doesn't start this one then he never will I'm afraid

Some of you are mad heads wanting changes all through the team. The only players rested should be those with niggles.

    With the news on the rearranged fixture with Liverpool I think Ole might rotate more than originaly planned;

    DDG
    AWB Bailly Maguire Telles
    Matic Fred
    Greenwood Bruno DVB
    Cavani
Something like this and then provided the wheels don't come off in the first half get Mata, Amad, Shoretire, Williams etc. on early

With this busy schedule ahead I think it's clear a number of players will be rested tomorrow. And at this stage in the season most will have niggles.

    May 6th Roma (A)
    May 9th Villa (A)
    May 11th Leicester (H)
    May 13th Liverpool (H)
    May 18th Fulham (H)
    May 23rd Wolves (A)
    May 26th Possible EL final

With a view to Aston Villa next, I'd rotate some players and look to make changes early. Bruno/AWB/McTominay/Greenwood all subbed off.

    De Gea
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Telles
    Matic - McTominay
James - Bruno - Van de Beek
    Greenwood

Got to be resting some players here. Get a win against Villa on Sunday before the ridiculous 72 hours after that.
Player welfare this season has been an utter joke.

    My team:

    De Gea
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Telles
    McTominay - Fred
    Greenwood - Fernandes - Pogba
    Cavani

If we score a couple of goal then:

    De Gea
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Telles
    McTominay - Fred
Mata - Van de Beek - James or Diallo
    Greenwood

Something like that but James is injured and probably out for another week or two.

Don't think we'll be resting a lot. I imagine it will be more or less full strength, and then use the 5 subs to get Rashford, Bruno etc off and ready for Villa.

    De Gea
    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Matic
    Rashford Bruno Pogba
    Greenwood
