I disagree that a manager should employ the same tactics irrespective of opponent, form or injuries. Football isn't that simple.

Martial is such an intelligent forward. Very rarely is he wasteful. Much better second half but we lost this game in the first 10 minutes. Arsenal have also stepped back and could probably turn it on again if they wanted to.

To concede goals like we did so quickly is a bit of freak really, but thinking about it it's been coming. In nearly away game and even some home games we have started far far too slowly. In the Southampton game we were lucky not to be 2-0 down, the Wolfsburg game we started sh*t, and the Swansea game come to mind immediately for me. (Basically the decent teams) have punished us for it.

Really? How about if Moyes was given the 150 million or so that LVG has spent. Look at the players LVG has bought in. Some have even flopped. The only reason LVG is here because we somehow (after spending 100 million) finished top four.

Yes. exactly. Thats what Arsenal were always criticised of in here and elsewhere, not playing the opponent.

Our tactics are rarely going to work when we are behind and teams are content to sit on their lead.

LVG got schooled today big time. The second half shows that he needed to keep it tight for the first 30 mins (3 CM's would have been good). That said, the football remains anti-Utd - pass, walk, stop, pass, walk, stop......repeat!!!!! This is not going to change while LVG is the coach.
