It's always the same, when we watch our team (whichever team it is) and we are getting tonked then it's always 'we are playing shite' without giving any credit to the opposition. Arsenal were superb in that 1st half. They attacked with pace, their passing was simply superb and they could have had 6 or 7 had then not been so prolifigate. It is one of the best attacking performances I can remember seeing from any team, and their tackling and tracking back has been damn good too. Credit where credit is due.

Mata and Memphis are absolutely nowhere to be seen when Arsenal counter - and even when they attack slowly.

Darmian is being ripped apart by Sanchez. Young is opened up by whoever feels like strolling down that side.
Only players with credit are Carrick and Martial. In particular Carrick, when we were at our most dire he took charge on the ball. He has his limitations but I thought that was great leadership.It could be worse, we could be Chelsea.Why in a team normally focused on defensive solidity are we playing on arsenal's goal line pressing so high and trying to beat them at possession game? It makes no sense. Hopefully LVG learns something from this game as it was a supidly arrogant game plan.

This is where our problem is, the midfield. We need to be quicker, and stronger. Schneiderlin is the obvious choice. It's a shame Herrera can't come on for Rooney.That Martial miss made me gave up on this match. One of those days.
