To be fair to the BBC, absolutely nothing has happened that half. Both teams been rubbish but the longer it's like this, the better for us imo. We have more attacking options off the bench than them weirdly.

We’ve had even more controversial goals disallowed and there hasn’t been a peep from anyone at half time

That’s because it’s the BBC and they have time.

Sky have break, goal, break, yellow card, break, and it’s live, break at half time.

Our use of the ball has been very, very poor. We have to be a lot better on the ball. However, our defending has been okay for the most part. If we can be better in possession we can win this. Big if though given how basically everyone has been treating the football like a live grenade.
Yeah if it stays like this I would back one of our players to get sent off, or arsenal to score a set piece goal then that will be it for us

Jesus tweaked his knee twice so the ref gave United yellows on both occasions...

    I wish I was joking.

I’ve seen Arsenal fans complain about how much time they waste in dead ball situations and it’s honestly been embarrassing today. Clearly must be another one of Arteta’s quirks to try and get an edge of some sorts.

For us, it’s been made to be a Jose performance because our back 3 plus Bayinder have been really poor at dealing with their press so we’ve just been giving the ball back. With better quality on the ball we could easily open them up but we’ve been poor.
Be a bit more understandable if it's a free kick in a dangerous position. They're taking 5 minutes over free kicks on the half way line.

Going to be tough when the ref is giving them every little decision and wants to swallow his whistle when we have the ball.

Given Liverpool's dominance in the league, I had wanted Arsenal to do well. After seeing how they dive, play act, time waste and whine, I don't want them anywhere near the trophy.

Literal trash team. Wing backs and midfield nonexistent going forward.

These INEOS fecks better get ready to make some transfers soon.

still think we'll lost this 2-0 and agree that there's a huge chance one or both of bruno and licha will get a second yellow

No replay of Saliba’s blatant yellow? Course not.

Shocking. So obvious that the ref was going to ignore that one.

We need to be really picky and question these incidents, both during the game, half time, and post match. They're adding up and it's only been one half of football.

Too many issues today, it’ll have to be a monumental team talk at half time to turn this game around. Arsenal just have too much control and we have none, along with an inability to disrupt their control too.

Our press is non existent/a waste of time so far. They have too many options across the width of the pitch for us to force an error. It’s forcing us back as they’re playing out too easily. Maybe we can adjust and make it more effective but it will come with risks.

GK look shaky and his distribution poor. He’s giving it back to them too often, as Hojlund is posing no issues as a target man.

When we do spring an attack, it’s usually the result of a forced, quick counter. Having just been pinned back, it’s leaving our attackers isolated and they’re doing nothing to hold up play for others to get up the pitch.

Garnacho looks way off it. He’s posing no threat. He’s not holding up play, don’t look to attack them. He looks like he’s being outpaced, overpowered and out thought every time so far.

Hojlund isolated and dominated by Saliba.

CMs aren’t offering the same sort of quality that theirs are. They’re being pressured and only able to pay basic passes that don’t progress play. They can’t deal with pressure, carry the ball (Mainoo can but he’s way off at the moment).

Wing backs offering nothing going forward.

It’ll be interesting to see what we try to do to change the tide a bit but it feels like we’re second best in too many areas to do so. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Just put some red stripes on Arsenals kit and you have the team they are imitating... Stoke.

Poor half that was more about fouls and offsides than actual chances. Maybe I'm biased but felt like poor refeering at times, not giving foul on Bruno really annoying as we were in good position to score. And then Bruno gets the yellow card which is basically worst possible outcome.

Should consider subbing Martinez off and maybe moving Mazraoui in his position (Amad coming in at RWB).

Once again the media coverage is so bias against us. One of the most obvious offsides you will ever see and loads of the analysis trying to justify why it wasn’t offside. Only for all 3 pundits to agree it in fact was offside. It would be nice for some impartial analysis when watching us.
It's a game in which nothing has happened barring that offside goal and they have 15 minutes to fill.

    They know it's offside.

mind you... this may have been dull but just seen that the late game is southampton vs swansea... that just has "dull as f*ck" written all over it!

The yellow for Martinez is a joke. The yellow for Bruno Is unfortunately deserved. It was a foul on him but his descent is unwanted.

It's very relevant and was straight forward foul to call.
You keep moving the goalposts. We aren't talking about if it was a foul or not.

Yes, it should have been a foul. He didn't get it. Doesn't change the fact him reacting to it and throwing his boot around is a yellow.

You're argument of if he got the foul it wouldn't have happened is childish and lacking responsibility.
