    Arsenal is a nothing team. Not saying bad or that we are better but they are as boring as it gets and offer nothing special at all. If we'd play like that after 5 years or more of amorim i would be livid.
     
    That's the most ridiculous 45 minutes of refereeing I've seen a while. It's almost impossible to win when the ref is so blatantly biased.

    Bruno and Martinez need to be subbed, they're not lasting the 90.

    Generally with this system the fullbacks are not supposed to be leading the attack. It's more from the 10s and 9.

    Our midfield (8s +10s) have simply not been good enough aside from ugarte.

    We need amad on.
     
    Solid enough performance in that we are not been overrun and look comfortable enough but we have zero threat attack wise,. If we concede hard to us coming back at them.
     
    We’ve had even more controversial goals disallowed and there hasn’t been a peep from anyone at half time :lol:
     
    Lineker reading out rules for the goal to be offside and questioning them... it's maguire, of course his body shape was wrong and he didn't know what was happening!
     
    Nobs on the espn coverage saying United will be the happier of the two teams at half. When we've been robbed repeatedly by the ref. 12 fouls to 3.

    This ref has been pretty bad but its always the same in the Emirates has been for years we've had blatant hand balls not given.
    The linos are doing OK with there offside flags.
    Bayindir bloody hell has he got high heels ffs his kicking is awful.
    Bruno well its a freekick. More up top needed .
     
    Limited Stoke to two corners so they haven't managed a shot on target. Shame this ref is going to give them every free kick he can even remotely justify to make up for it.
     
    I’ve seen Arsenal fans complain about how much time they waste in dead ball situations and it’s honestly been embarrassing today. Clearly must be another one of Arteta’s quirks to try and get an edge of some sorts.

    For us, it’s been made to be a Jose performance because our back 3 plus Bayinder have been really poor at dealing with their press so we’ve just been giving the ball back. With better quality on the ball we could easily open them up but we’ve been poor.
     
    You can't win games like this when the Ref gives every decision to the opposition, the non free kick against Bruno was an absolute disgrace.
    A sending off will probably decide this.
     
    Once again the media coverage is so bias against us. One of the most obvious offsides you will ever see and loads of the analysis trying to justify why it wasn’t offside. Only for all 3 pundits to agree it in fact was offside. It would be nice for some impartial analysis when watching us.
     
    You need to be clearly better than the opposition to overcome such incompetent officiating, unfortunately that's not the case for us. We've been well organized defensively and if Hojlund was better at holding up the ball we could've had a few more attacks. I think with Amad still to come we've got a decent chance here, especially if Odegaard goes off. I'm wary about all of our yellow cards though, this ref will probably send someone from United off the first chance he gets.

    most of the time it's been thumped in his general direction and not actually passed to him - yes there have been one, possible two, when he should have held it up. but I maintain he's the type of forward who needs someone next to him
     
    I wish we had proper footballers up front. We have been decent at the back but with these guys up front it's hard
     
    haha espn studio analyst tried justifying that non call by saying the ref missed a foul by us before that so that’s why he didn’t call it a foul on Bruno. Luckily Craig Burley of all people said yes but two wrongs don’t make a right.
     
    Why the actual feck are they spending all of that time talking about Jesus's injury with the knee (understandable) and spending zero amount of time talking about the foul on Bruno?! They completely and utterly glossed over that...

    Man there's been plenty, he's a professional footballer playing up top for Man United. He has to control passes into him, that's absolute basics. He's always in the wrong position and losing duels and when he does win a duel, he fails to control it. He's just so far off the level required.
     
    In the US the halftime panel on ESPN includes Kieran Gibbs(???) who just claimed it was not a foul on Bruno since there was a foul prior on the touchline that was missed so they cancel each other out. :lol:

    It's always the same problem (and the statistics back this up) - referees are weak-willed nerds and massively favour the home team. Until we start hiring referees with a backbone, these sort of refereeing displays will continue to be the norm.
