I don’t know how you tell people in the middle of a half who to man-to-man mark. Also that seems like a terrible system to name mark, you’ll always be left behind as they start to make the run en masse.Very disappointed with how we handled their corners in the second half. Yes, they outplayed us after the break, but you get the feeling we wouldn't have lost otherwise.
Ya we were very good first half. Mentally collapsed in second on set pieces. Hard to fathomRashford has probably been mentioned more than any other player, despite coming on around the 60th minute. The reality is, we achieved nothing while he was on the bench, and we achieved nothing when he came on either. As always, he'll likely be blamed for the loss, which is a prime example of how fickle the reactions can be.

There's nothing wrong with zonal marking, the issue is that the players are so fecking static when defending the corners. You need to make space so you can get momentum to head/mark the space; they're all jumping on the spot so of course they won't get to the ball first when the Arsenal players have 5-10 yards run ups. Onana needs to be better too.

If you knew football you’d understand the context and nature of this game. Then it would be clear to you why it would always be a struggle for our striker to do much offensively here.
There’s a few positives despite the generally crap performanceWe really have missed Mainoo in this game. Bruno can't match rice physically. Not to mention that Hojlund does nothing...Boo. Second half stinker.
It isn't and Arsenal deserve to win of course. It's their style of play as well, to battle hard and score out of moments like this.
