Feels like it. Haven't noticed him at all.Mount is hiding from the ball or what?
Always has been.Mount is hiding from the ball or what?
Anyone who thinks Garnacho has huge potential needs to take off the rose tinted glasses.
He looks like a fish out of water when asked to play any sort of smart game. Technical quality sorely lacking
I don't think he has much to work with. 2 defensive wing backs, and mount + Garnacho + Højlund in front.Yep. We should at least try and provide some service into the box. But we’re playing zero risk football - even Bruno, when he gets further up, turns around and passes it back to the CB’s
Good questionWhy do they not get a yellow for breaking up a counter with cynical fouls?
When Amad comes on 2nd half.We going to get a shot away today or what?
Yeah it seems like he's actively not seeking the ball when ugarte/fernandes have it in midfieldFeels like it. Haven't noticed him at all.
ExactlyI think containing them for the first half was the plan, judging by the line ups. The only positive is we have loss of attacking changes to come from the bench in Rashford, Zirkzee and Amad
Yeah, I’m taking the positives. We’re not under any sort of pressure, barring set pieces, and that’s about it. We can’t have it both ways (solid defensively and swashbuckling attacking) whilst we’re transitioning with a new manager - away at one of the title challengers. We are doing well. Arsenal at home are favourites against everyone in the league atm.
I think he has huge potential. Flat track bully lately but still young, 20 isn’t the finished article.Anyone who thinks Garnacho has huge potential needs to take off the rose tinted glasses.

Could see it happen. Not sure Malacia can go 90 minutes anyway, so Amad for him and maybe Rashford against tired legsKeep it goalless until early second half and get Amad on to actually get at Zinchenko. I’d maybe push Fernandes forward for Mount too and risk the Casemiro random performance generator
Personal views?
I couldn't care less about his personal views.
This is not something i want to derail the thread with, but it appears he's anti-homosexuality, most likely for religious reasons. There have been a couple of stories about it, the most recent that we scrapped a pro-LGBTQ+ jacket for the team in a recent match because he refused to participate. Obviously he has a right to his views, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Shame, because as a footballer I'm such a fan. What personal views?
Haha. Love thisKeep it goalless until early second half and get Amad on to actually get at Zinchenko. I’d maybe push Fernandes forward for Mount too and risk the Casemiro random performance generator
Yeah but it seems instructed as well. Maybe a bit of pragmatism, considering the opponent and our situation (injuries, new manager etc). Alas, Arsenal have also created nothing. So that’s a positiveI don't think he has much to work with. 2 defensive wing backs, and mount + Garnacho + Højlund in front.
Disciplined, solid, not troubled, no threat from us at allJust got to putting on the game. How we looking so far?
They have 3 of their first choice defence out. We really should be doing more in attack.A far more assertive, possession-based display (so far) than anything that ETH would have got out of us tonight. Reckon we’d have been 2-0 down at least by now, with 25% possession.
Not creating anything is a concern though, but I’d argue Arsenal’s defence is significantly better than our attack.
