First goal will be very important, if we get it we control the game. If they do it will be a long day. Aside Casemiro and maybe sometimes Fred, we lack ball winners in this team.

    Just don't get hammered please

Finally, we have a manager who has the ability to organise our team to beat title contenders. Cas suspended is a massive loss, but excited to see how EtH sets us up to win this.

Man marking Odegaard using Fred and McT staying on Partey. Eriksen to provide the creative role while Fernandes comes inside to assist. I can't see any other tactic unless he plans to really go creative.

Ye can see them being all over us in like the first 15 mins. But that’s fine we’ll just hit them on the counter. Think they’ll be times we settle down and have possession too.

Remember that game in 2015,wow I have never seen us blown away so quick

Just try Lisandro at CDM Erik then if it doesn't work at least then you will know for future

Wish this game was teatime tomorrow and not last thing on Sunday afternoon

If he didn’t fancy him there in the Eredivise then I doubt he’d play him in that position in a much harder League, but you never know.
Played Chelsea off the park in the CDM role in the CL, so he’s definitely capable.

I’d quite like to see it.

Casemiro being out is such a huge loss. I was confident before hand but a point would be a good result now.

I’m not against it either, I personally think he’s got all the attributes to play there. I‘m just going off what I’ve heard as I never seen him when he did play there for Ajax. I guess we’ll soon find out on Sunday.

A points a good result with or without Casemiro. They’re top of the league for a reason. But we’re still the only team to beat them and I’m confident we can’t snatch a win with the way we’ll set up which is most likely to counter attack.

With Casemiro out, and Martial a doubt, I wouldn't make any more changes than necessary.

Trying to shoehorn in Weghorst will just break the rhythm even more.

Play Rashford up top and McTom instead of Casemiro. Keep it simple.

Arteta's Arsenal have always been a handful for us even when they were shit. It's hard to be optimistic here, I just hope we give a good account of ourselves and don't get humiliated.

Martinez over McTominay and feel we have to start a proper striker with Weetabix unavailable

    It really was.

We're a top team playing a lower half team, we're always going to have more of the ball than them, it's not enough to have decent possession stats at the end of the game, you actually have to create chances. An off day in attack is having numerous clear chances and failing to convert them, a shit performance is where you don't even look like scoring. We barely created anything all night and the passing in the 2nd half was embarrassing at times. So many simple 5 or 10 yard passes misplaced, the cheap losses of possession cost us as it lead to Casemiro getting booked and conceding the free kick from which they scored their goal.

We have incredibly low standards if we're satisfied with that performance.
Or, Palace did well defending?!? Until Eriksen’s run wasn’t covered.

End of the game we got sloppy, and punished for it.

Am I the only one who would rather have Malacia marking Saka than Shaw? That CP winger toyed with him while Malacia dealt with Mahrez on weekend.

Yep im pretty sure we were top of the league at that point and people were still buying into the BFS/Schneiderlin midfield. Not after that.

You just know that trossard will score against us it’s almost written in the stars.

I somewhat agree. However, we'll miss Shaw's threat on the left side and I really want us to win.

Horrible feeling it will be McT who replaces Casemiro. If he does, I doubt we win.

Hopefully it's his one game a season where he looks like Lothar Matthäus on stilts, but he usually saves that for Leeds. :(

I feel really cheated not to see Casemiro in this game. It would have been a banger and now just feels like we will get rolled
