    Easy to be pessimistic given recent performances but in reality there's a reason Arsenal are only a few points ahead of us themselves. They're very beatable if we turn up and they're more than capable of not turning up themselves.

    Of course he has been dropped. He wouldnt be on the bench if he was being rested or given time off he has been dropped
     
    I think Maguire is being punished for that pass to Hannibal. When the coach specifically said to not pass into Liverpool's pressing zone.

    No reason Mejbri couldn't be allocated either Lingard or Mata's place, as they won't be here next season.

    Also wonder why we need 3 center backs on the bench, better than two GK's I suppose.

    Mata was pretty good when he came on against Everton. Dumping Lingard would just create another story in the media that we could do without at the moment. Hoping the lad gets his chance next season.
     
    Who knows what to expect from this? Hopefully we don't embarrass ourselves again at least. A more balanced team today than what we saw in the last couple of games. Happy to see Maguire taken out of the team.
     
    Could be a decent game this, I was expecting us to get beat but not so sure now.

    Teams look pretty even, if not us with a slight edge?
     
    Think we might do better than people think. The players have been publicly humiliated by all the slatings.

    All Bailly did was respond with "Please!" and a praying emoji. Think there was a smiling emoji too but could be wrong on that part. Anyway anybody with half a brain could see he was just joking. It certainly wasn't as bad as is being played out.

    But it's all PR these guys being surrounded by experts should not be making mistakes like that because it is a mistake for me.
    Posting and responding online isn't an issue but a player, with a little bif common sense, can anticipate how certain answers, however innocent, can be interpreted.
     
    Arsenal's team looks crap tbh. I don't feel confident against any team atm but I could see that Arsenal team screwing up. Their defence looks like an absolute mess

    Agree about Mata tbh. With media darlings Maguire and Rashford on the bench, I doubt Lingard would get more than a last line throw away.
     
    I can only hope that McT and Matic stay deep and patrol across in front of the back four, and the back four stay in line. Then try and get something on the break from the front four.

    That said, a draw is no good to us so if we’re still in it in last 20-30, got to got for it. Not enough games left to take a point.

    We’ve had a few “this is it” games recently but… this IS it.

    Not from Rangnicks answer, it sounds like he went out of his way to openly put the question forward.

    No player should be so petulant so as to question managerial selection openly anyway. This is the problem with the squad, anyone doing that shit need turfing out.
     
    I would have played Eric Bailly in midfield. Just to stop Arsenal playing. I think Ralf is not pragmatic to do that. He still wants to play football.
     
    That Arsenal side is no better than ours on paper. We can win this if we bother to show up.

    Must be awkward for Ronaldo to do that applause. Not a fan of all these acknowledgements before games.
