Yep, I certainly don't miss the travel, and the scumbag fans, both away and our own.

But it's still nice to watch the big players like Ronaldo in the flesh while we can.

Only saw him once first time round, and then once against us for Juve.
4 times this season is ok, not too special, but ok. He's scored 4 in those 4.

At least he'll be around next season.
Oh indeed its always a treat to see the players you like, especially when they put a shift in and do the shirt proud, I've just gotten too old for the hassle of it all
I'm still excited about our next season even with how diabolical we've been .
Ronnie has at least been a glimmer of hope during this nightmarish season , something to always look forward to.
I certainly hope he stays, it just feels wrong to part ways on such conditions.

Yep. He's up to 140 goals, and it'd be good to see him get into the real upper echelons of our top goalscorers, ahead of Van Nistelrooy 150, and Scholes 155.
Plus lead the new revitalised United side.

it would be so poetic if he were do so , going from a hapless freckled young boy from Lisbon coming over to coming back in old age as one of the greatest and leading the new generation to glory.
The sentimentalist in me would love that to happen but I understand that he is obsessed with cl so I wouldn't hold it against him if he chose to not do so, he has earned that prerogative by all means.
But I hope he stays anyway, and it wouldn't take him long to reach some of those goalscoring milestones as well.

I think at his age and status, it'll do him more good staying here for the year than it would going to a team just based on potentially 6 games. The giants all are set for strikers, and Messi is way off his record, so surely won't get too close.

I would hope so I think he understands that as well. you will surely have a lot of fun visiting Trafford In the coming season with hag coming in and all the exciting youth set to enter the team :)
Or at least I hope so.

He'll probably think he could squeeze another year here beyond next year too!
But realistically, stay next season, get another 20 goals, get above Van Nistelrooy/Scholes and maybe Hughes in the all time list, then time to head off to the USA or one last league for a couple of years and retire at 40.

I think he might end up at sporting.
Would be a nice end to such an illustrious career with it all ending from where it started.
