The only thing Rashford could have done differently was hit it on his left first time, which would have been a bit of a swinger. He then did well to fake out Martinelli, and probably just didn't expect Leno to be out so quickly... Probably because he trains against De Gea day in day out.

Reading this place though you'd think he missed an open bloody goal.

    You're trolling?

If Rashford was on the left he stroke that first time with his right foot. Playing him on the right is the dumbest move Ole has done.

What makes things worse is that the Under 23s are in dire straits. Got cuffed by Chelsea and now Leicester.

Not a great half. But we've comfortably been the better side, and we have a couple more levels in us.

Good performance so far. Have to keep it up in the second half. Can still go either way this game. We really need to win.

Decision making by Rashford looks worse and worse how his career is going on. Can finally some of our coaches start working with him on that?

Arsenal will get a goal out of nothing and win this. Seen these games before.

Rashford has been shit for a long long time. His stats are crazy good considering how bad he's actually been for most matches since he's come back from injury in June.

Yeah his general play has not been as impressive as his stats suggest. Don't get me wrong his stats are accurate reflection of how good his moments have been. But he could be so much better.

It doesn't help he gets played in RW.

Thought that was unlucky from Rashford more then anything. Leno did well.

It's poor decision making, that close to the goal with that many players there's no way in hell you're going to have time on the ball....First touch should've been a shot, from that distance it doesn't have to be a wonderful hit in order for it to be a goal

We need to shake up our forward line in the summer. Whether that’s a right winger, centre forward or left winger, I don’t care. We need something different to this gash.

When Ole came in I thought our attackers will benefit the most from him and learn about movement and anticipation but it’s been the opposite

Well yes, that's what he should've done because it's most likely heading goalbound. How do you think you could take a touch there not once, but twice, that close to goal?

You simply don't get the best out of Rashford on the RW, Ole putting him there again is just baffling. I don't get it.
Nobody else to play there? Can’t be having James can we and Greenwood can’t play every game. We’ve gotta hope Diallo is good.

If we could show a bit more urgency and move the ball quicker the game is there to be won. Rashfords decision making with some of his passing has let him down. The pass to cavani at the far post was on but he played it back wide to bruno..
Martial, step up now and show you can effect a game.

He definitely should be hitting it first time in that position

We're usually quick to scapegoat our defence when we drop points, but its clear to me our strikers are actually the reason we don't win games. Martial offers nothing and has the work rate of a reluctant prisoner, Rashford has possibly the worst decision making I've seen from an 'elite' tier striker. We desperately need to sign a proper striker if we actually want to challenge for the league at some point.

Rashford has made the wrong decision every single moment. I haven't seen a worse performance for a long time. Pogba by far our best player made about 5 interceptions.

A natural goal scorer buries that first time without even thinking.

What on earth made him take a touch?

We're not playing badly. I'm happy to see that we want to take the game to Arsenal as opposed to sitting back and waiting for counter-attack opportunities.

We aren't looking all that threatening though and Arsenal are defending well. And when not, well, Rashford happens. His decision-making has been nothing short of terrible for a few weeks. It has to be psychological because he can still beat defenders, he gets on the ball a lot, he gets into dangerous positions - but if there are three equally bad options in a situation he finds a fourth that is more terrible than the three combined.
