    Sorry for changing subject, but is there any news on why Ibrahimović is out of the squad?
     
    So weird. For 25 minute we were perfect.

    Arsenal will be wondering how it isn’t 3-2.

    Jose will stick his boot in now, and hopefully we see it out at the very least.
     
    I swear our three center backs look drunk. they are getting up to jump and then they miss their headers and it is falling for arsenal players. The three stooges stupid morons.

    Superb watching for neutrals. Our start was superb, that 2nd goal (and Martial's lay off) was outstanding.

    Not really sure how Jose will modify our game. Introduce Herrera, but for whom?

    Feel like Lindelof is very quick to sell himself at the slightest drop of a shoulder and de Gea (despite some saves) has looked shaky - the only thing he doesn't like is a crowded box, which is probably the only instance where I think Neuer is better.

    Hoping for a settled start to that 2nd half...
     
    If we keep letting them play like that, then they will get one in. Good thing that we haven't conceded at half time. Players need to keep their heads when they get the ball, slow down the tempo. On a side note Lindeloff has done well today.

    Both Matic and Pogba look like they are struggling with fitness.
     
    Wow! What a half of football. It sounds crazy, given that we’re up 2 -0, but we were incredibly fortunate to get to the half with the lead in tact. We need to sort out the defending and start clearing the ball with much more authority. The next goal is critical. The job isn’t done yet, boys.
     
    Awful half after the 10th minute :lol: Defensively all over the place, awful finishing from arsenal and a shit load of lucky bounces for us to not concede but also for them to get the chances as well. 1 goal and you can see them getting another 1 or 2, but we really need to change what we've been doing.
     
    We attack really well, but defending hasn't been that great. Feel also the ref is superbiased for Arsenal. He gives them a lot of cheap freekicks and things, but just nothing for us. Overall great to be 2-0 up against 12 man Arsenel ;).

    Lukaku have been really good today. Lingard and Martial as well. De Gea saved us a few times. Rojo has been crap, Lindelöf and Smalling struggle at times too. Need to improve the defense in the second half. Valencia been great.

    If we had some more defenders I would take off Rojo straight away. Blind on I think could do it better cause we need someone calm in our defense.
     
    Cracking half! Great scoreline for us. Nothing to complain about so far. We do look a little bit overrun but thats to be expected when the gooners are chasing the match.

    In my humble opinion its probably better to play 4 at the back with 5 in midfield instead. However, it seems to be working out for us so far, although the central defenders havent been very convincing in clearing their lines. For all our height and strength we also look really poor on setpiece defending.

    Nonetheless, its a positive result to take into halftime and DDG has been superb. Time for Jose to work his magic and make the necessary tweaks so we can actually gain some possession in this match.

    Can be happy going in 2 up at half time but we need sort out the 2nd half. We’re getting ripped apart. Need an extra body in midfield.

    Pogba should be releasing Lukaku a bit earlier on these counters as well
     
    We need to get back to back four and bring Herrera on, we won't ride the luck the whole game.
     
    Total chaos in the box! That was some of the weirdest defending I've ever seen. Just like when we used to play football when I was a kid. Somehow we still haven't conceded though which is good.

    Have to change something though, Arsenal finding space way to easy!

    bellerins moustache the main talking point, if that raised any money in movember they should give it back. He looks like a character that would die very early in game of thrones.

    Marriner is a bad referee always has been.

    Pogba very good.

    Finding the BT commentary to be majorly biased. Didn’t even question whether Lukaku was fouled on the chance De Gea saved from and making out that we are getting battered when really we are playing this way by design after going 2-0 up. Also McManaman keeps groaning whenever an Arse move breaks down.
     
    Arsenal haven't created much through their own ingenuity. Our clearances have been consistently shit.
     
    Arsenal can still win this. I don't trust our defence. I can't believe they haven't scored yet. Rojo and Smalling have been shocking. We are 2 nil up because of Arsenals naivety.
     
    Without doubt the best 45 minutes of football i've seen for a long while, 2 good attacks v 2 defence's under immense pressure, fecking great game. Not good for the heart though.
     
    Feels like we turned back time to those days we’d go to Arsenal and win with counters. We are so dangerous on the break!

    Our defending has been resolute if a bit last ditch. Thank feck that De Gea is god level! :lol:
