West Bromwich Albion Football Club nicknamed West Brom, The Baggies, The Throstles, Albion or simply WBA; are a professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands; and were founded in 1878 as West Bromwich Strollers, by workers of George Salter's Spring Works. They were renamed West Bromwich Albion in 1880, becoming the first team to adopt the Albion suffix. West Brom were one of the founding members of The Football League in 1988, and have one League title win, 5 FA Cup wins, and one League Cup win to their name. Even though West Brom have spent the majority of their history in the top-flight of English football, when the FA Premier League was founded in 1992 the club found themselves in the third tier, and have negotiated periodic relegation-promotion oscillations to the Premier League ever since. West Brom play their homes games at The Hawthorns, and share historic rivalries with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Away game as well, might see Carrick in for Herrera but i hope not.

Blind will look better with Smalling next to him, but this will be another tight game because they love to also park the bus. I hope the players get a good rest though, they were all clearly very tired.

Just when things were looking rosy a horrible away game crops up on the fixture screen. Bah, 1-1.

We will have to fluke this one like today. We just don't play well in these games. Hopefully WBA ease off a bit after a few good results and pretty much being safe.

They have started playing well.. and a Pulis side is never easy.

Fecking hate playing Pulis teams. Any fluke goal will do, just get it over with.

A must win game. Not bothered if we play cak and the winner goes in off the back of Ben Foster's head. Its all about getting three points at this stage of the season.

I have started feeling positive, so we'll probably lose here. Need players back from injury/fatigue. I know people don't like Carrick but I don't feel confident without him. None of our other players know how to control the game like he does.

    De Gea
    Varela Smalling Blind Rojo
    Carrick Schneiderlin
    Rashford Mata Lingard
    Martial

Given that they will be defensive, I think that we should play Riley at left back and play Rojo at CB. Blind looks really tired. Or CBJ if he is fit.

Yacob's suspended for them. Expect Sandro to take his place. Berahino might be dropped for an additional midfielder as well.

Will be tough game like today. Hopefully the boys will get well deserved rest, fresh and up for it. Just hope the injured parties will recover soon. As much as I want the likes of Rashford to play all games from now on I am sure he needs to be managed well before fatigue-induced injuries come in his way.

Banana skin sitting in slick oil on a frozen lake and we're wearing stilettos.

0-0 written all over this I think. If we win here, then you'll get the feeling it's a real bit of momentum, winning a 5th in a row in all comps. Not sure if we managed it all season. Hopefully Smalling is back as it'll be a huge boost with him at the back. The kids have all done really well, but I wouldn't start any of them here. They need a rest, and away to West Brom is very tough. Keep them as subs, with Darmian, Smalling, Lingard all starting again.

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Blind Rojo
    Schneiderlin Herrera
    Lingard Mata Memphis
    Martial
Maybe Carrick in as he was rested today, though it could be better to keep him as a sub.

It will be a tough game and they will kill us from set-pieces if we don't have a sudden improvement.

    De Gea
    Varela--Smalling--Blind--Rojo
    Schneiderlin--Carrick
    Rashford--Mata--Memphis
    Martial

I wouldn't mind Darmian and Lingard coming back in for this game. This will be a real test for Varela & Rashford and I wouldn't be surprised to see LVG drop/rest them. Sadly I think West Brom will knick it on a set-piece or something like that.
Mensah played well tonight but Smalling has to come back into the starting lineup.

Lingard should start, theres no reason he should of been dropped today, hes energetic and positive and has a goal in him, maybe drop rashford to the bench

I think the clearest thing I got from todays game was that Daley needs a rest. He's been in the matchday squad of every single game in every competition all season. He was on the bench for two games back in October, but other than that he's played almost every single minute of 41 games already.

If Smalling is back, I'd like to see any of TFM, McNair, Rojo or CBJ beside him and Blind sent somewhere relaxing for a week off. Otherwise the same team with Rashford on the right and Martial up top, and our two friendly Spaniards sent out with a bollocking ringing in their ears to work harder, smarter and better.

    De Gea
    Varela Smalling Fosu-Mensah Rojo
    Carrick Schneiderlin
    Rashford Mata Lingard
    Martial

Massive game now considering its Arsenal vs Spurs this weekend, a win is guaranteed to close the gap one one of those teams.

Need Carrick and Smalling back just to defend the set pieces.

We need our defense to deal with their set pieces, our midfield to control the game, and some trickery up front to break down their lines.

    ----------Schneiderlin----Herrera---------------
    ---Rashford----------Mata----------Memphis--
    -----------------------Martial-----------------------

    Subs: Carrick, Lingard, TFM/Varela

Blind needs a rest and mental refreshment. Wouldn't mind Rojo or even TFM play in center of defense alongside Smalling.

    DDG
    Darmian Smalling Blind Rojo
    Carrick Schneiderlin
    Lingard Mata Memphis
    Martial

Need to win this, if we want to get the 4th place. Will be another boring match with a lucky victory.
