Angel Di Maria: Tore Germany apart in an international friendly with one goal and three assists. Can he be equally influential against Queens Park Rangers as Manchester United attempt to build a good run of form?

Rio Ferdinand: This will be the first visit to Old Trafford as an opposing player for Rio Ferdinand after 12 years at Manchester United. How will he fare against Falcao, Di Maria et al?

on current form and at home...I'm expecting another draw.

This will end up a unconvincing 2-0 performance.

Rio to score? Man of the match guaranteed anyway.

The international break will hopefully help us for once, not least in regard to the injuries.

Hopefully Di Maria, Herrera, Blind, Rojo and Shaw will all be available. That's half our outfield players. Bench for Mata, RvP, Evans and Fletcher.

Season starts here for us, we'll have almost all of our players back for this, or should. Sucks that its in 2 weeks but the international break is definitely coming at a great time for us with all the players out.

    De Gea
    Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
    Blind Herrera
    Januzaj Rooney Di Maria
    Van Persie
Predicting a big win for us, and I think we'll get one actually if all the players are back. Mata will probably be out as he seems to have pulled his hamstring but I don't mind that so much, he's in poor form and doesn't fit with Rooney and RvP.

Rafael and Shaw back, plus herrera makes for a very different team to todays. Then with Blind and Rojo, even more better.

    --------de Gea
    Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
    ----------Blind
    -----Herrera---di Maria
    --Januzaj Rooney Young

Switch to a back 4 with all the players back fit and I reckon we'll smash QPR tbh, 3-0 us (di Maria, Jones, Rooney)

Can't we just give them the three points so we don't have to see and hear that ugly bastard Redknapp?

    -------------De Gea--------------
    Rafael - Jones - Blackett - Shaw
    --------------Blind--------------------
    ------Herrera-----Di Maria-------------
    -------------Januzaj----------------------
    ----Welbeck--------Rooney-------------

Or if 3-5-2, Get Rojo and Evans in Januzaj and Blackett out.

I usually hate International breaks but this one is coming at the right time.

We need the injured players back; Rafael, Shaw, Herrera plus Blind and Rojo, I hope will all be available.

Finally a team as shit as we are. We'll make them look like world beaters.

Just hope Herrera and Shaw are fit in time for this, and Rojo sorts out his work permit. I've pretty much given up hope we'll abandon the 3-5-2.

Even if we win this, which, as embarrassing as it sounds, we may not, it means absolutely nothing. We'd have 5 points after 4 matches, when there'd be teams with 12. Teams we can't hope to actually beat, either.

3 matches in and I'm already dreading this season. Let's hope for a top 10 finish, we'll sort it out next season.

We should win this, QPR have no structure unlike a Burnley.

    --------De Gea--------
    Rafael Jones Smalling Rojo
    -----Blind---Herrera----
    ---------Mata---------
    Di Maria Rooney Januzaj

    Man United 3-0 QPR.

We should play ALL the newcomers, they can't be worse than this shit. And drop 3-5-2.

    ---------De Gea
    Rafael-Jones-Rojo-Shaw
    ----Blind-----Herrera-----
    ---------Mata----------
    Januzaj------Di Maria
    --------Welbeck---------

    --------------------De Gea
    --------Jones-----Smalling------Rojo
    ----Rafael---------------------------Shaw
    -------------Blind-------Herrera------
    --------------------Mata
    ------------Rooney--------RVP

How I wish could recover from these darn injuries.

1-1. QPR dominate the game for 89 minutes and lead 1-0. Rio sees how sad we have become and scores an OG for us

Personally confident of a 3-1 win for United!

Players get some time to train together & hopefully a few back from injuries. Then our season can kick on from here...

    De Gea
    Raf, Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Shaw/Young
    Blind
    Herrera, Di Maria
    Welbeck, RvP/Rooney

Usually I hate international breaks but this one is bloody well timed.

Hopefully we can get some players fit and get all our new signings on the pitch.

Gonna win. I have no doubt. The good times under VG will start here.

United win. I managed to get tickets for this game and am really excited about going. DiMaria OT Debut, Rojo debut, Blind debut, Herrera return hopefully. Im hoping for 3+ goals although the way the team is playing right now i'll accept any victory.

07/08 season , it was just like this . Dire first 3 match with us relying on ronaldo's magic , i have faith in our team . As soon as we get our first win , i know that our season starts at that moment

352 expecting one or all three of fletcher, young and valencia to play.

    2-2.

Iam expecting quite a lot of injured players to be back in training and hopefully available for the home game. Iam expecting a first win of the season, if not, we will be in deep trouble.

Will we ever win a game again is currently going through my head! Oh and I fully expect RvP, Rooney, Welbeck and Jones to get injured during international break.
