Brentford Football Club (nicknamed The Bees) is a professional football club based in Brentford, West London, England. The club was founded in October 1889, as the local sportsmen's latest attempt to form a permanent football or rugby club in the town. By 1896, Brentford had joined the London League, progressing to the Southern League in 1898 and entering the Football League in 1920. Upon the appointment of Harry Curtis as manager in 1926 came the beginning of Brentford's most successful period, with promotions in 1933 and 1935 taking the club into the top-flight of English football for the first time in its history. Three consecutive top-six finishes in the First Division established Brentford as one of the top clubs in England, but a decline began in 1938 which led to the club's relegation back to the Third Division South by 1954.

Recently, after two failed playoff campaigns in six Championship seasons, Brentford were promoted into the Premier League after victory in the 2021 Championship play-off Final (reaching the highest level of the English football pyramid for the first time since the 1946–47 season). Brentford's main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers. The club have a long standing rivalry with Fulham. In the past this fixture has been marred by crowd violence. Brentford's rivalry with Queens Park Rangers intensified in 1967, when Rangers failed in an attempted takeover of the Bees, a move which, had it succeeded, would have seen Rangers move into Griffin Park and Brentford quit the Football League. Brentford play their home games at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Will Shaw and Malacia be available?

Would be good to have a natural left back and allow Dalot to the right again.

Brentford will score after 60 seconds anyway. That's a given.

I've been to OT probably 50 odd times in 25 years. Last time was 9 years ago.
I've never seen a defeat at OT. I'm very lucky in that sense. I'm taking my two boys to OT for this game and hoping we can get a result on the day.

Hope we win and you all have a great time!

Hopefully you get to watch some entertaining football under a new manager.

Simply have to win this and get good points from next 6 games.

We had a tough opening set of fixtures, Liverpool, spurs, villa, Brighton and even palace away was tricky, and Fulham too look like they'll have a decent season.

I really do think we need to be aiming for 14+ from next 6 games

    Don’t jinx it for us!

Fake an injury straight after kick off and kill their entire momentum and game plan in the opening minute.

Brentford have a player that has scored more goals than our entire squad.
    That's crazy.
We also still have no players with 2 goals, going into gameweek 8.

There are 45 players in the league with 2 or more goals.

3 much needed points from this one.

Might need an OG or a deflection but who cares.

We will get the 3 points and all will be well.

Brentford have played three away game and lost three in the Premier league so far this season but was three games they were expected to be beaten in against Tottenham,Liverpool and Man City. The latter only beat Brentford 2-1.

Last two meetings in Old Trafford was a 1 goal margin victory for United and I'll gladly take that result right now if offered.

RVN to finally get through to our attackers that they have to get shots on target and away from the GK to score a goal.
    Home win.

We’ll have to attack this game as it’s at home and fans will get frustrated with another poor performance. That will play into Brentford’s hands and they’ll tear us apart.

Probably draw this and as being shown right now, that will be enough for him to carry on being dog shit!

If we hired Thomas Frank, do we get the new manager bounce or do they?

If we hired Thomas Frank, we would be a lot better, looking at what he has done with Brentfords budget. The story is, that everyone at Brentford loves playing for him. Guardiola holds him in high respect saying that Frank could coach any club.

Shaw has done the muscle in that leg he broke walking to Macdonalds.
Not sure how much is left on Macia's physio room season ticket
The MEN says Shaw could be fit for Fenerbache, Malacia November, and they have Mazauroi as November

I mean that’s not true regarding Mazraoui. Someone stated he was taken off due to illness.

Just clocked that Shaw is predicted Fenerbache and Malacia November with Yoro.

    Maguire to be confirmed also.

Frank could manage Brentford for the first half and manage us for the second half.

    Like Chicharito did that time.

According to ETH after the game, they know what the isues are with Maguire and Mazraoui, but not the extent of them, or how serious

I honestly don’t care about the result or who the manager is for this game. I just want to see us play with purpose and conviction. I thought last season was draining but this one has been excruciating and we’re only at the start.

Frank/Tuchel/Ole/Ruuds/Charlene from accounts First Big Test

Something good has gotta happen soon. Right?
    2-0 Yanited.

They are in 11th place so we will need to be game raising cnuts to beat them.

Mainoo, Mazraoui and Garnacho have all withdrawn from internationals with injury.

Hopefully just minor/using common sense to manage workloads.
