    Leicester City Football Club (nicknamed The Foxes, The Blues, City, and Blue Army), are a professional football club based in Leicester. Leicester City was founded in 1884 by a group of old boys of Wyggeston School as Leicester Fosse, before joining the Football Association in 1890. In 1919, when League football resumed after World War I, Leicester Fosse ceased trading due to financial difficulties of which little is known. The club was reformed as Leicester City Football Club, particularly appropriate as the borough of Leicester had recently been given city status.

    Leicester City have enjoyed moderate success through the years - winning 3 League Cups, and reaching the final of the FA Cup 4 times - prior to their odds-defying Premier League title win in 2015/16. Leicester City's most prominent rivals are Nottingham Forest, Coventry City and Derby County, and they have been playing their home games at The King Power Stadium (originally named Filbert Way) since 2002.

    We've only beat Norwich and Wolves this season, and both of them could easily have gone the other way.

    I think it’ll be a tight game but over the past 2 years we’ve been better away than at home so I’m quite glad to be away from OT.

    You do look like you might struggle a bit this season though, your strength in the last few years seems to have been being fast starters and I don’t feel like you’ve not had that this season. What’s the issue? Injuries? Age catching up with vardy? Just one of those runs of games?
     
    What a relief not to be playing at Old Trafford. We might win and even play ok.

    We will batter you for 10 minutes, score, and then spend the rest of the game leaving huge gaps for Vardy to run through.
     
    We'll probably kickstart their season. Past few games they've dominated us when we were doing well enough but our poor midfield has hit a new low and Leicester I fear will use this game to help them back to levels of last year.

    It's another game of can we turn our attack on or not to offset the goals we usually concede while getting bounced around in the middle.

    For once I'm glad for an international break, maybe the players and manager need some time to look back now. Midfield worst than ever, picked to offer protection, Varane added and playing well, De Gea playing excellently yet worse run of clean sheets for 50 years or whatever.
     
    Leicester need a big win to get their season back on track. Cue to Ole’s United to help the foxes out.

    Lot of problems, but I think the biggest is defense. Vardy isn't the monster he was a few years back, but has actually been better recently than he has been for most of 2021.

    We've been pretty poor going forward in 2021 imo - we create very few chances, and have been scraping points through a combination of a solid defense, and Iheanacho wonder goals.

    Rodgers doesn't seem to rate 'Nacho (he only played him because of our attacking injury crisis), and Fofana and Evans both being out means we're playing a out-of-form Soyuncu (who seems to alternate between world class and championship levels) and Vestergaard (an oil tanker pretending to be a footballer).I think because of this glaring weakness, Rodgers is making us even more defensive than usual.

    Most of our games have the same pattern. We have 0 shots, 55% + possession, and make a lot of passes between our CB's and keeper, before eventually gifting the ball away. Our opponent will put a fast (or even regular-paced footballer) on Vestergaard, and play the ball just behind him. Vestergaard, not knowing how to turn around, will leave the ball, giving the opponent a free chance on goal.

    The player you probably need to watch out for (obviously other than Vardy) is Lookman. He's probably been our bright spark this season. I would say Iheanacho, but Rodgers won't bring him on 'til the 70th minute when we're losing.

    A lot of predictions that we'll turn our form around, but unless one of Evans/Fofana comes back, I don't see it happening.

    Fair play. I obviously hope you’re right :lol: and despite the result today, United actually played ok for long parts and played well for smaller periods. I think it’ll be a good game.

    I recall similar things being said before we played a poor Southampton side away from home.

    United won't win this, especially with it coming straight after internationals. 1-1
     
    Two teams in miserable form who really need the international break at the moment. Soyboy and Ventrilogard are genuinely awful at the back, but it’s another central midfield that I’d expect to do ours in.
     
    Our Brazil and Uruguay players play on Friday 15th October at 01:30, so you can rule Fred and Cavani out. There’s only two matches for the rest (as the Nations League finals take the focus), and none after Tuesday, so everyone else will be available.

    Would love to see Rashford back for this one.

    N'didi is injured (definitely out for our game tomorrow vs Palace, but I think also out vs. you lot), which helps you a lot. Don't know if he just needs time to adjust to the premier league, but Soumare isn't pulling up any trees at the moment.

    I'm good. Ole has done a solid job in rebuilding the squad and we're in a much better state than before he took over. But tactically he has his weaknesses and has seemingly taken us as far as he can.

    But I don't think the caf has been good for you at all. Rarely see you do anything other than being pedantic and post snide remarks like this one. You're taking a post meant to ease tension and get the thread going to make baseless assumptions and attack the poster for no real reason. What exactly is the point? Cheer up once in a while, it won't hurt you.

    Wow, your lack of self awareness is astounding. Read that second paragraph back to yourself in a mirror. I've yet to see you engage in any sensible debates about Ole. Everything you've said in the second paragraph is exactly what you do. You're far from "good", mate - it's clear as day Ole being manager has gotten to you, you seem personally affected by the criticism.
