Ole was a good appointment as an interim manager, he did get us on a road to better or at least watchable football and he has secured some good players at the club. However he now seems to have problems being the manager when he has a number of choices to make when picking the best team, he seems to be trying to fit square pegs into round holes, so that certain players are happy.
One of the signs with Moyes that the job was too big for him was when once, in a post match interview, he admitted he should have taken RVP off, he said "but the fans would have lynched me".
I get the feeling Ole is undergoing the same problems, the balance of the team is not there in his selections and he is trying to keep everybody (except perhaps Donny!) happy.
Why did he play Maguire, obviously not up to scratch? Did Maguire say "it's OK boss I can play" and that was that?
Why oh why, does he keep insisting on playing Pogba in a midfield two?
The same problems week after week are there, even when we managed to win, the danger signals go before; does Ole and his coaching staff not see the problems, do the players ignore his instructions, does the left hand even know there is a right hand???
The cloud of frustration returns, some of these issues, some very basic issues have been clear for years, either they are missed by the coaches, or the players don't understand or what?
We are becoming the easiest team to play against, both in the PL and cup competitions, that has to stop and soon. Time to s**t or get off the pot!
