    Herrera--Blind--Di Maria

Subs: Valdes, McNair, Evans, Fellaini, Mata, Wilson, Falcao

Cant wait. We are showing a turn of good performances. Swansea was a loss ,yes, but we had that spell when it seemed as if we were poised to score. The tempo agaisnt Sunderland was very nice to see - dropped it off a bit too much once we scored though.

This should be an easy win, they beat Aston Villa today so they aren't really desperate

Di Maria doesn't deserve to start the next game imo.

I would play that, but I think Falcao will start

Hopefully. Wouldn't be shocked if Januzaj started in front of Di Maria though. Carrick just gives us a lot more solidity in there then Blind does IMO. Important points though are to play with width again, have Rooney as our lone striker and I want Mata to play from the off.. Has deserved to play a lot more then he has recently IMO.

    Hoping for:
    =--------------------Ddg
    Valencia-Smalling-Rojo-Shaw
    ------------Herrera------Blind---------
    --ADM------------Mata----------Young
    --------------------Rooney--------------
A must win game but we've been shit away so I reckon it will end 1-1

SUBS: Valdes, Evans, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata, Wilson, Falcao.

I reckon Di Maria will start because (a) he will be fresh and (b) LVG will give him the chance to prove himself after today's events. And if that doesn't pump him up, nothing will.

I'm looking forward to what will be only my second game at SJP this season. No team have beaten NUFC at SJP than you lot and I can't see it being anything other than yet another win for you on Wednesday. Enjoy the climb up to Level 7!

At least there should be no excuses for not playing Rooney up front any more.

I think we'll start with the same line-up that started the second half, Januzaj did enough to warrant keeping his place and I imagine Falcao will be chosen ahead of Mata so that Rooney can add some power to the midfield trio with Blind and Ander.

The TanMan has been getting in their team recently. Forgot he was there.

They should be doing better than they are and have been for a couple of years. Talented but brainless players.

    0-4.

    Rooney hattrick, Di Maria.

Winning this one would increase our chances of top 4 a fair bit.

Really important game when you look at the next few fixtures afterwards. It's winnable for sure, the only problem is our awful away form. We need to get over that mental block, or whatever it is, and pick up more points on the road. Newcastle would be a good place to start.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera Di Maria
    Januzaj Rooney Young

Carrick and Fellaini to come on.

I predicted a straight forward win, against Sunderland at OT, as we dominate at home, but struggle away.
So, based on past performance, I will say 1-1 draw.

No matter how shite we have played, I'm always confident after a win. Liverpool to lose tomorrow, Arsenal to draw and us to win at Newcastle next week would give us a great boost.

Yay, a midweek game I didn't know about until now:)

Nay,I just realized it coincides with my oldboys football. :(

This last minute has been an emotional rollercoaster.

I'm confident we're hitting some kind of form. 0-3 is my prediction, when we win at St.James', we win quite comfortably.

    ------------------De Gea
    Valencia----Smalling----Rojo---Shaw
    ------------------Carrick
    -----------Herrera-------Di Maria
    Januzaj---------Rooney-------Young

I like Blind but I think he should sit this one out for the extra security we have with Carrick on the pitch. I don't want Di Maria to start after today's 'performance' but he is one of the few genuine game changers we have in the side.

I'd like to see us control the midfield better, some our play around the centre circle today was extremely careless and almost cost us some goals. If Carrick can't play then move Herrera back and play Mata behind Rooney.

Falcao certainly does not deserve to start despite winning the penalty and neither does Di Maria based on Januzaj's cameo and Young's last three performances. The back four pick themselves because it looks like Rafael is heading out of the door and Shaw was rested meaning Evans can bench warm again.

    --------------De Gea-----------
    Rafael---Smalling--Rojo--Shaw
    ---------Herrera--Blind---------
    --Di Maria---Mata-----Young--
    -------------Rooney------------

Valencia is obviously going to start over Rafael but I'll keep dreaming. Evans in if Shaw is still not ready. Could also understand possibly giving Di Maria a game off so he can get himself together, start Januzaj instead who did well when he came on today.

    Hoping for:

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Herrera Blind Di Maria
    Januzaj Rooney Young
    Expecting:

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Herrera Blind
    Januzaj Rooney Young
    Falcao

I'm pretty indifferent in all honestly, it would be interesting to see if Falcao have gained some confidence after that penalty. Also, the 4-2-3-1 formation seemed to work well.

Its like 3 wins away from home right? Louis cant do what he did agaisnt West Ham and just watch and hope. If things arent going well, do something. His subs will be key.

Same team, but drop Falcao and Di Maria for Mata and Januzaj.
