No Carroll, Reid or Collins for this one. Hopefully we give Jenkinson more nightmares.

    Hoping to see:
    ------------------ De Gea
    Valencia -- Smalling -- Rojo -- Shaw
    ------------------- Blind
    -------- Herrera ------- Fellaini
    ----------------- Di Maria
    -------- Rooney --------- Falcao

    Team should be...

    ------------De Gea------------
    Valencia--Jones--Rojo--Shaw
    -------------Blind-------------
    -----Fellaini------Di Maria-----
    ------------Rooney--------------
    ---------RVP-----Falcao---------

Subs: Valdes, Smalling, Evans, Young, Herrera, Mata, Januzaj

    Hoping to see:
    ------------------ De Gea
    Valencia -- Smalling -- Rojo -- Shaw
    ------------------- Blind
    -------- Herrera ------- Fellaini
    ----------------- Di Maria
    -------- Rooney --------- Falcao

Swap Herrera for RvP and put Rooney on the right and that's what I think we'll see.

Tough game, would be huge if we win for our confidence going away from home. Not the end of the world if we draw, but not ideal of course. Wouldn't be surprised to see a similar lineup to the one out today, just Jones and Valencia in the back 4. Ideally I'd like to see this:
    De Gea
    Rafael Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Herrera Blind
    Mata Rooney Di Maria
    Van Persie
    But that's unlikely.

    Tough game.

I think there is a chance we are gonna revert to 5-3-2 if Young is fit to play.

    With Young:

    -----------------DeGea--------------
    ---------Jones-Smalling-Rojo-------
    Valencia---------Blind--------Young
    ----------Rooney-----DiMaria-------
    ----------vPersie-------Falcao-------

    Without Young:

    ------------DeGea----------
    Valencia-Jones-Rojo-Shaw
    -------------Blind----------
    -----Rooney-----Januzaj/Fellaini--
    -----------DiMaria---------
    ----Falcao--------vPersie--

    @ Rooney at #9

I think he will come on as a sub. tbh. I think he might start against Burnley a few days later though, or we are actually risking someone getting injured. Of course these players have to get through this weeks training first before we ever pick a team for West Ham.

I think we will do something similar to the Leicester game:

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Rooney Blind Januzaj
    Di Maria
    RvP Falcao

    Subs: Wilson, McNair, Young
If we win this in a confident manner I think we will start to become very optimistic about a top three, and rightfully so.

    -----------------DeGea--------------
    ---------Jones-Smalling-Rojo-------
    Valencia----------------------Young
    -------------Rooney-Blind-----------
    ----------------Januzaj--------------
    --------vPersie--------Falcao-------

Swap Januzaj with Rooney and put Fellaini in for him and this is a 3-5-2 I wouldn't mind giving a go.

It may backfire, but it did its bit against Arsenal.

Herrera won't start so I won't even bother with that.

    De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Rojo--Shaw
    Fellaini--Blind--Di Maria
    Rooney
    Falcao--van Persie

subs: Valdes, Jones, Rafael, Herrera, Januzaj, Mata, Wilson

It will be this or a 3-5-2 I think.

    De Gea
    Jones--Smalling--Rojo
    Valencia--Blind--Rooney--Young
    Di Maria
    Falcao--van Persie

Put Rooney back as striker in place of Robin van Persie.

    ---De Gea---
    Valencia - Rojo - Smalling - Shaw
    ---Blind---
    ---Fellaini--Di Maria---
    --Mata--
    -Rooney--Falcao-

    De Gea

    Valencia
    Rojo
    Smalling
    Shaw

    Blind
    Fellaini
    Di Maria

    Mata
    Rooney
    Falcao

    1-3.

Please start Herrera and play Rooney up top. If Rooney is played up front he will score goals. If Herrera starts he will create scoring chances for our strikers.

Rafael played 90 minutes in the u21's right? He might play if we go 4 at the back.

    Who are you talking to?

I would gladly take a draw if offered now. It's an away game and West Ham are no pushovers. Heck, we cant even beat Cambridge away not long ago.

I disagree. They aren't pushovers, but to consolidate 3rd we need to start winning away from home. With Arsenal and Liverpool away at their local rivals, this is a great chance to possibly gain 2-3 extra points on them.

The last 3 'big' games for them they have lost. Andy Carrol's random patch of form has disguised their actual form, and he's not even playing. They're not that good. We'll smash them.

Don't be ridiculous, we should be beating them. Like we should of beat QPR away(who picked up all their points at home) and did.

"Wessht Ham ish fery tuff team sho i shall haff to play fish defenshif philosshophy, lets see.. 1-3-5-2, of coursh."

    -------------- Rooney ------ Fellaini
    ------------------------ RVP
    ----------------------- Falcao

With Young back in the team, it is time for the 3-5-2... No more twitching a**

I don't care what formation we play as long as we keep the tempo up.

Why is the date stated on 7th Feb at the top right column of this thread instead of the actual 8th Feb?
