    - Tomorrow Rostov will be without Kalachev, Gatskan and Granat. Will Dzhanaev miss the match, too?
    - The absence of these three is a great loss for us. We have those who can replace them, but these guys have less experience. Unfortunately, Dzhanaev will not play either. This will weaken Rostov, but the team is a team, and I hope that those who come out on the pitch will cope.

    - Kalachev and Gatskan flew to Manchester anyway?
    - This is important for us. One of them is the captain of the team, the other is the leader. They will be in the locker room, they can set up the guys for the meeting. We work for the result, even those who do not play.

    - When preparing for the match, did you focus on tactics or psychology?
    - Both parts are important. The team should not only focus on United, but also be organized. Manchester United have a lot of bright players, who individually are very strong, so it's important to show good teamwork.

    - Today Jose Mourinho talked a lot about Pogba. What can you say about him?
    - I would not want to focus on an individual player in such a team. Each of them are strong. They are good and deserve attention and respect.

    - Tomorrow Rostov will finally play in a good pitch?
    - This is a good for all players. It is an honor to play in such an arena, on such a great lawn. This is a celebration for us.

    - On the eve of the match, the fans of Rostov are carefully optimistic. What is this based on?
    - It's all because our fans love the team, they are devoted to it. Everyone who's watched Rostov, has often been surprised by the results and now this is what gives us hope for success. Faith of the fans - this is very important before the match tomorrow. Yes, we are at different levels with United: on traditions and trophies, but it happens that the one who wants more wins. We came with optimism, and if we succeed, it will be a great party.

    Andrei Prepelita, midfielder of Rostov:

"It's an honor to play against such a club and in such a beautiful stadium." I hope that we can give the fight to United.

Football Club Rostov (Russian: Футбольный клуб Ростов, and nicknamed Selmashi or Zholto-Sinie - Yellow-Blues) is a Russian professional football club based in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Oblast - playing in the Russian Premier League. Rostov was established in on 10 May 1930 as the team of the Rostelmash factory, and was initially named Selmashstroy (Сельмашстрой). They were renamed Selmash in 1936 and Traktor in 1941. In 1953 they became Torpedo before the name Rostselmash was taken up five years later. They stuck with that until 2003 when FC Rostov was introduced. Until the club's Russian Cup win in 2014 - defeating FC Krasnodar on penalties, Rostov had won no top division titles or major domestic cups - narrowly losing the Russian Cup final to Spartak Moscow in 2003. In recent years, Rostov have built a sturdy reputation under Kurban Berdyev and Ivan Daniliants - building a competitive squad on a strict budget. Rostov play their home games at the Olimp-2.

Pogba's head is dabbing around somewhere on another planet.

Play Carrick/Herrera and let Mkhi do whatever he likes. Even have ice-cream.

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Shaw
    Herrera Pogba
    Mata Mkhitaryan Lingard
    Ibrahimovic

We really could have done without having to play 55 minutes with 10men during this busy period. There could be some heavy legs Thursday night.

We've got to win this. Either drop Pogba or give him the mother of arse-whippings and lay it on the line: control this game or you're on the bench.

Let's put tonight to bed and do the business boys.

So many players are going to be fecking shattered after the effort they put in tonight. I'm tempted to rest a lot of them in the league and concentrate on this competition, but as we have this one first then I'd make as many changes as we have options for:

    De Gea
    Young---Smalling---Blind---Shaw
    Carrick
    Mata---Herrera
    Lingard---Zlatan---Mkhitaryan
Big performances needed from Zlatan and Herrera given recent events - if we feck this up then the season's over.

I hope we don't put Pogba in a 2 again, lets just be sensible and play Carrick who actually understands the holding midfield role and use Pogba higher up the pitch.

Bailly seems out of favour right now and we might as well use Rojo as he's set to miss several PL games and can rest then.

As I've been saying for most of the season... europa league games are where the focus this season should be. Hope we play:

    De gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mata Ibrahimovic Mkhitaryan
If fit, throw Martial in for carrick and do a 4231 and get at them. Theyll probably just park the bus anyway

Let's win please. Show the same resilience like today and we should be fine. Ibra should be well rested and ready to put the ball in the back of the net.

If we can't beat this absolute pile of wank it would be a disgrace. 4-0 please.

Kind of want to make a point to Herrea and drop him, but not sure we can afford to with lack of depth in centre midfield. Schweini should be being used more, but he's not going to be. Blind should be in the team every week for me, but it ain't happening either.

    I'd guess:

    DDG
    Valencia Bailly Smalling Rojo
    Herrera Carrick Pogba
    Mata Zlatan Mkhi

    Team should be...

    ---------------De Gea---------------
    Valencia--Bailly--Smalling--Blind
    ---------------Carrick---------------
    -------Herrera-------Pogba-------
    Mata----------Zlatan----------Mkhitaryan

Subs: Romero, Rojo, Jones, Shaw, Fellaini, Lingard, Rashford

Actually quite a bit of freshness in that side (well when you consider Herrera and Mkhitaryan only played 35 minutes tonight)

    Drop Pogba. Wake up time.

I reluctantly agree with this. You always think he can come up with something special but at this point I'd rather start with Fellaini in midfield than Pogba, he's that out of form.

Then again if Pogba is playing in midfield 3 then I could see him performing much better but please no more in midfield 2. Please!

That's the team I would go with. There is more than enough quality to see off these hooligans. That team uses the squad perfectly in my opinion.

I think it'll be Romero in goal.
I hope he starts playing De Gea in Europa League soon. It's pretty stupid to stick with Romero when its such an important competition as we probably wont get top 4

Need experience and cool heads on the pitch in case we fail to score early and it gets tense.

So I hope Ibra, Carrick, Mata and Mhkitariyan, Smalling and Valencia all play.

Might be worth resting Pogba too, only to send him a wake up signal for final stages of season..

Think we'll get a great game out of Herrera from his guilt complex vs Chelsea.

    I think we'll win 3-1

He's played the last five games in the Europa League.
Sure . But now we are getting to squeaky bum time so surely he'll play his best team.

Although Romero is a fine and dependable goalkeeper himself too.

The away leg was pretty squeaky bum time too with us needing a result and he trusted Romero in goal then as well. I think he'll trust Romero to get us through this round and if we face Lyon/Roma next round De Gea will probably come in.

    Ddg
    Valencia-Jones-Rojo-Shaw
    ---------Herrera-Carrick---------
    -----Mata-Mikhi-Martial-----
    --------------Zlatan----------------

Pogba needs to be rested, he's been a bit shit. This gives us the opportunity to play a fresh team and free up the front 4.

    3-0 United.

Full strenght. I hope a victory and a convincing one.

Hope that some of the boys will be back for this game too.

Need to think about Boro on Sunday too (rest De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Carrick and Rashford)

I hope we have our finishing boots on because I can see them nicking a goal. We can only score 4 in the cups so, please United, again!
