It's worrying when a 36 & 37 year old are our best midfielders.

Without Scholes (in particular) in midfield we look wank.

We don't need to sign anybody though, only transfer muppets want that, right redcafe?

This is where our 'depth' is supposed to be kicking in but our third tier players (Obertan, Gibson, Neville etc) are just not good enough. At least Cleverly would add some creativity and desire. Frustrating to see people like Obertan getting games when we could have Welbeck and Cleverly on the pitch. I know that they need regular games but the point remains.

Hence the need for us to be active in the transfer market.
 
I think we will win. It won't be deserved but I think we'll somehow manage 2nd and maybe 3rd.

Three straight defeats, shocking against Blackburn, suspensions and injuries at the back, it was there for the taking, and we are being outplayed !!
 
dudes why so much negativity? haven't you noticed it's January? and transfer window has been opened opened for like 14 hours? Surely performance this bad must convince Fergie to sign some players. And surely playing a terrible game and dropping few points is worthy for getting new signings.
