Well good for you.

I am ever so pleased you will be going - i hope you don't ever moan about loyalty systems at football again - seen as you abused it like many others at the first chance you could.
Put your fecking toys back in your pram! The loyalty system at United is a fecking joke, and always has been. In fact, probably always will be.

I fail to see how it is being abused when all I did was look at the options available to me and use the one that I think would be best suited to me.

At the end of the day, I have only missed two away apps in the past two years (one of them not being my fault) and West Ham this year has been the only one I have been lucky enough to get!

Yeah, you're right. The tickets should only ever go to the same people, away trip after away trip! Therefore never allowing anyone else the opportunity to be able to go to away trips
Well if you've got someone who's gone to the last 25 aways and shipped out thousands to be there, then of course they should be prioritised. Unfortunately we all know our club couldn't give a feck who goes to the aways.

Megabus at 9AM to Glasgow is only a tenner or something. We're staying the night there in some shit hotel and getting the train back next morning and the whole trip is only 40 quid each

West Ham is a right fecking effort to get back from!

Top reds get the megatrain from Preston to Glasgow. £1 each way :D
Only downside is it leaves at 6.35am. We'll be pissed at 10am in Glasgow. Ah well, at least we'll fit in

Both systems are flawed.

Loyalty should be rewarded, but if tickets go to the same people every single time, with no give, then how can anyone else get to an away game.

Surely thats not right either.

fecking hell is that actually true? My mate told me about it but I laughed him off. Nothing wrong with being in Glasgow that early

I live in Preston and it costs me £9.60 to get to Manchester and back. How can a train to Glasgow be cheaper????

Madness I tell ya.
It's the Megatrain, part of the Megabus.

I used it on the first week of launch in a half train half bus trip to Yorkshire. Last year around March maybe. I actually missed my reservation at 8AM it as I was looking around Kings Cross for a bloody bus. Then I had to go on the 2PM one. They didn't charge me extra as it was the first day and all so people were bound to be confused. People who didn't read what their reservations said. So basically just me

How do you propose those that fail in application every time get tickets?

The system being there is a joke, but if you need to then you take advantage, otherwise you have no chance of attendance.

What's this about the Blackpool allocation being cut to 1600 due to pitch invasions at Stoke and Villa?! Any fecking excuse, it's beyond ridiculous now. One lad at Stoke, and about 10 at Villa.....

Like feck do we 'do what we want' anyway.

For me it's even not correct to name it 'pitch invasions'...

I hope the bus breaks down TBH.

The amount of lads i know with credits who've been everywhere with Utd but missed out on previous trips and this one due to these feckin' coach trips grinds me

What about somebody who misses out on trips with credits who has no other way of going other than Thomas Cook, heap?

Think heap is being a bit of a dick to be honest. We have too many fans wanting to go to aways, and I'm seriously against it being a "closed group".

Whether you like it or not Thomascook gives people a chance to go to a euro away if they seriously WANT to. The other option is that the same 2500 reds get to go to every single game at face value. A good few of the "loyalty pot" are fecking touts too.

Which is exactly what happens at United at the moment!! It's a fecking joke, I have seen people at United, home and away, with literally a wad of tickets charging people extortionate amounts to go to a game.

The loyalty pot needs to be changed to a much fairer process that allows people to be in the scheme and not have to apply for EVERY single away game.

Heap is right in a way that the most loyal should be able to go but when that loyalty excludes 95% of other supporters who can't go to EVERY away game, something is wrong

Unfortunate on there part Boothy (i know you're in that boat).

I am very much against the Thomas Cook avenue - it's fundamentally wrong.

I don't agree with it, and I know it's gonna be full of twats on my coach, but personally I'm just glad I'll be going

What, are they supposed to feel sorry that you can't afford to use it? Or that you won't use it because it gets in the way of your principles? I know lads that have paid thousands of pounds to watch a single game. That's how bad they've wanted to watch United.

I mean you really shouldn't question the support of those forking out to go and watch the team, because there's feck all you can support from your MUST Chubb Club TV set.

Just saying like.

What's the latest on the ticket collection for Rangers? Is it going to be in Motherwell like I heard a couple of weeks ago?

There's feck all on the official site yet, which is nice considering the game is only 1 week away

No idea mate - I know it is collected North of the border but not heard anything from anyone as to where and when it gets picked up. I dare say it'll be somewhere to inconvenience us and try to stop the United fans from drinking too much.

Touting occurs everywhere unfortunately...I've seen similar.

But also seen lads with wad of tickets sorting out ticketless reds (good reds n all) for face value.

Guess it works both ways.

They can't stop people drinking. I'll be smashed before 10am as we're starting at 6am :D

I don't mind picking my tickets up in Motherwell because that's where I'm staying but it is a piss take if we do have to go there.

How far is Motherwell from Glasgow? Scottish geography isn't my strong point. The email said a ticket pick up from 'a location yet to be decided in Glasgow' and a few on the other place have said they've been unsuccessful looking at hotels etc.

That Preston train is where its all happening :D

So if I see a pissed up vulture walking round the street talking to itself, should I take you by the arm and take you to the game?

About 13 miles mate, which i fairness is less distance than United made the Rangers travel to pick their ticket up

Well it's about the folk who go too when he wishes their bus to break down. The idea is not the best, but it's a way for some so let it be there as an option. Some people who are tied up with all sort of things regarding work and family only have limited chances to watch games, they use this option meaning they will have to pay more, but at least they get to watch it when they have the chance. So what if a few reds who've been to every other game missed out, they'll get to go to others. Manchester United is of all the fans and not a select few.

So those who literally arrange their working lives around following United and make huge sacrifices should just think 'Oh feck it, i've been to countless aways and spent huge amounts of money going to places like Kiev and Bursa but this time that lad who hasn't been since Ronaldo left can have a crack in my place :D'.... The way it's run at the moment isn't the best, far from it. But I'd much rather it this way than clubs like Arsenal who's members can get it ahead of ST holders.

Part of the fun for me is making contacts that allow me to go to aways at FV. I haven't had a ST since a little lad and having to move down South. I've lost count of the number of times lads have sorted me out for aways over the years and that comes from just putting yourself out there at aways.

I can afford it you muppet - but i chose not too.

Anyone who pays thousands of pounds to wtach a football team wants to have a word with themselves TBH - i'm not impressed by them.

So whoever is prepared to pay the most is the biggest bestest supporter?
Great.

Don't lecture me on how to support United - becasue beleive it is not from behind a TV set.

I will be in Glasgow - ticketless.

Any chance of finding someone with a lookalike passport? Worked a few times in Valencia for a few out there.

So the season ticket holders that get fecked over every single away game shouldn't be able to go using your logic, a closed club of united away, genius plan.
