I'm getting confused again. Is there a convenient place to find the dates of each upcoming event, and who is fighting in it ?

wiki is actually the best resourse imo...

just type in ufc 109

then there will be a link to the next event as well as the previous... you can see all the fighters... confirmed officially and the ones confirmed by sources (fighters twitters, agents and reliable sites) but not yet announced by the ufc

has dates and locations as well etc

I hope Daley KOs that little shit in the first round. I haven't been itching for a KO like this since Hendo vs. Bisping.

Does anyone know where i can download the best of Pride which was on Spike last Friday? Can't find any links for it

So i gather Lesnar is all healed up and will now face the winner of Mir/Carwin in March.

he is due to begin full training around march last i heard... as a fight camp is typically around 12 weeks then theoretically he could fight mid summer but i wouldnt be surprised to see him come back a bit later than that just as it has been a while since he has fought... possibly october but thats just a guess... saying about 3 months to get fully in shape and then set up a fight and begin his fight camp...

would seem wierd for him to fight mir again... but i have a feeling that will be what happens...
and if he wins i wouldnt be surprised to see mir join strikeforce and take a crack at fedor

I tried to look on MMA-Core.com - The center of all things Mixed Martial Arts - MMA Videos - MMA Gifs but couldn't find anything. Have you tried looking for any torrents or are you just looking for a website to be hosting them ala youtube?
so do i... he would have to be in with a shot of fighting whoever wins out of gsp hardy if he does that...
Hopefully getting me closer to my $1k payday quicker...hahaha.

Seriously though, I hope he knocks the lights outta KOS.

i figure if dan wins agains gsp then the winner of kos and daley will be next in line...

hardy vs daley being a perfect title fight to stage in the uk later in the year and kos hardy having the agro factor... (dut i think daley will pake his head off witha left hood as he rushes in... well ok that what im hoping for!)

if gsp wins then i guess if there is a stand out winner of alves / fitch or kos / daley then they would be in line

Think it's completely unfair for Mir to be in an interim title fight. Carwin was twice scheduled to fight Lesnar, yet now because Mir wants revenge against Brock then Dana figures he can squeeze another fight out in the HW division. It's better for ratings but it's disrespectful for Carwin. If I was him I'd tell them to get fecked.

Mir got battered last time and if he faces Brock a third time I hope he gets knocked the feck out

From the horse's mouth about why he was sick.

SI.com
UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar ended speculation over his health on Wednesday, telling ESPN's SportsCenter that there are no signs of the illness that sidelined him since November.

Calling his quick recovery from diverticulosis, a painful condition that develops when pouches form in the wall of the colon, a "miracle," Lesnar said doctors were "dumbfounded" after a recent checkup showed the recovery from a rupture in his stomach.

"There is literally no sign of anything even existing in there," Lesnar said. "I believe in the mind is a powerful thing. Everyday I was put in a position and had to view my life and world in a different way."

That wasn't the case in November. Worsening over a three-week period, Lesnar's body slowed as he prepared in Alexandria, Minn., to defend the UFC belt against Shane Carwin. After notifying the UFC that he wouldn't be able to fight, Lesnar, who was initially diagnosed with mononucleosis, traveled to Canada for a hunting trip. Lesnar's conditioned deteriorated, and one evening he said he awoke with a 104-degree temperature feeling "like I was shot in the guts."

Lesnar (4-1) returned to the U.S. to seek care, and spent an 11-day stretch at a facility in Bismarck, N.D. Greg Nelson, who oversees much of Lesnar's MMA and striking training, told SI.com after news of the illness broke that the heavyweight would fight again, but Lesnar said Wednesday he wasn't so sure. Lesnar didn't eat, couldn't drink, and the physical specimen shed 40 pounds in less than two weeks.

"I got a different take on life when you have everything taken away from you laying helplessly in your hospital bed not sure if I'm going to even get back in the octagon, something I've grown to love to do," he said.

Doctors put Lesnar, 32, on a heavy course of antibiotics and pain medication with hopes that he could recover without surgery, a procedure that would have resulted in his wearing a colostomy bag and the death of a very promising mixed martial arts career.

"This guy was looking at a completely different life, a different quality of life had he needed the surgery," said Lesnar's promoter, UFC president Dana White.

Seeking a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic, the recommendation came back that he required surgery once swelling subsided. But Lesnar had it in his mind that he would do anything to avoid going under the knife. After a checkup at the start of the year, Lesnar, who also employed holistic practices during his recovery, went back into the gym and quickly put 30 pounds back on his considerable frame.

The heavyweight pay-per-view draw plans on returning by the summer, and is expected to face the winner of March 27's UFC interim heavyweight title fight in Newark, N.J. between Frank Mir and Carwin.

"Let's be clear," Lesnar told ESPN, "I still am UFC heavyweight champion."

If the Mir-Carwin winner cannot meet Lesnar, White said either Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera or Cain Velasquez will get the chance depending on their results Feb. 21, in Sydney, Australia.

I don't understand how the surgery would end his career completely???

because he would be wearing a colostomy bag and i read some reports saying that there would probably have to several surgeries so it could be 2 years + without being able to train or anything... alsso idnt know if after the surgery they would be able to have docs certify him to be safe to fight

EZee hit it on the head... the overall recovery period would be between 3-4 years, which for all intensive purposes, end his career because his physical state would deteriorate to the point it'd never be reverse.

I'm not sure of his age but I can assure you he's probably further along than most... An illness and potential surgery at, say age 21 could be recovered, but later in your 20's into your 30's, it' just not possible to recover fully.

plus as i say i dont know if a doc would have signed him off to fight after the surgery and obviousley without docs approval you cant fight...

lesnar is 32btw

32 is the age of peak, so there's your answer on top of everything else.

Quite a miracle, good for him.

Watched it for a bit. Did nothing to dispel my belief that it's not a patch on a good boxing match. It's just lots of men in pants sitting on each other then occasionally punching. Dull for me.

MMAte is not acceptable here Mr. Poster-of-the-year

You have to pick and choose the fights. There are boring MMA fights just as there are boring clinch boxing matches. I'd guess you probably favor more stand up battles over grappling / wrestling so check out some old fights featuring Chuck Lidell or BJ Penn.

Chuck vs Wanderlei Silva - That was a fecking war!

also dont know if anybody else noticed but ufc is going to abu dabi as well this year...

The Renzo Gracie vs Matt Hughes match was probably why.

Renzo Gracie is / was the personal BJJ instructor for Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who's part of the ruling family of Abu Dabi. Plus, there is a vast untapped market in that part of the world which likes a good fight so it's good to see UFC branching out.

I hope Koscheck gets his face smashed by Semtex!

Griffin V Bonnar, Guida/Sanchez will do the trick.

You happen to catch Strickforce on saturday?
They fed Herschell a guppy and was embarassing to watch. Whole card was shit for me except for manhoeuf and lawler.
I hated the women's fight. I don't like watching women fight especially women that look like men.

Can't wait for this to be over
fixed
