pretty damning Spoony, there are some pretty bad posters although Ekeke isn't capable of reasonable thought, or any actual thought basically so he could well be the very worst.
Oh the irony...

Don't understand the grief Sultan is getting over this thread. Being a fan of a football team you're technically supposed to be on the other end of the rational scale and sometimes do or say stupid statements like "Patrice Evra was a pointless signing" (I'm guilty of that one).
Rationally, sure people should mourn over the loss of their favourite player. But there are a lot of annoying posters on here who are wengerized by Ronaldo.
Just for the record, FS old mate, do you think Ronaldo tried to leave last summer?
You'd be surprised how many people have been trying to deny this all season long. FeedingSeagulls is one of them.
If another young United player blossoms into a talent as great as Ronaldo I will gladly put up with the next generation of fan-boys.
Meanwhile, a healthy cull in their numbers would give me great pleasure.
Anyone else getting a sick sense of enjoyment from watching the fan-boys work themselves up into a lather about how we're doooooomed without him, whilst simultaneously trying to make it all somehow not Ronaldo's fault?
Part of me doesn't give a feck if we win nothing next season, if dicks like that lose all interest in United.
Thats very Uber of you Pogue. Sacrificing the overall success of the club, possibly allowing the scousers capitalise and win the league (as they are our closest rivals at the moment) all so you can get rid of some fan boys from our fanbase. Its like some 'for the greater good' arguement.
But there is no greater good than winning the league next year.

I'd say that part will get smaller and smaller as the season gets closer.
What does Uber mean?
And how am I sacrificing anything? There's a difference between not giving a feck if we don't win anything and actively hoping it will happen.
I've endure plenty of trophyless seasons before. I can cope with another one, especially if Ronaldo's departure gives our kids a chance to shine. Supporting a football club isn't just about winning trophies. I've really enjoyed some seasons when we won feck all.
Whilst the argies are struggling they'll still qualify, portugal actually might not...
Also Messi did look quite clever, easily the best player on the park agaisnt ecuador. Whilst Ronaldo has been as shit as the rest of his portugal team mates, aybsmal.
Does that make me a 'fanboy' Sults?
Feedingseagulls said:So where in this thread (or others since late summer) have I ever said he didn't want to leave at some point over the summer?
I'm not for one second trying to back up the claims by [edited] that Ronaldo didn't want to leave in the summer, cause he did.
That's well out of order - the argument is over whether wanting to leave is unforgiveable or wrong - and when he made the decision.
Go and read my posts.
I honestly think an apology is in order.

Aside from £80m, the fact that we won't have to endure Ronaldo Vs Rooney threads and Ronaldo fanboys next season can only be a positive. Oh that is, until the next big superstar we create. That's right, create. Only United can create such superstars.
All those who are having a go at Sultan need to wind their necks in. Is he not allowed to feel agrieved, annoyed, betrayed, frustrated, etc. too? Is he not allowed to vent said emotions on here like everyone else does?
Of course he is. If he's got an issue with this whole Ronaldo thing then give him the right to voice his opinion on it like every other gimptard does around here.
My bet's on Welbeck.
Actually - I've had occasion to correct you about this accusation before - and you really should have remembered the result - so I publish the following PM exchange.
Re: Foul calumny
Yeah, ok, I'm guilty of skimming that thread and not reading your posts properly. So yes, an apology is in order. Sorry
Great title to the PM, by the way. Thought you wanted to to discuss George Best's wastrel of a son!
Pogue
I'll rather have so-called fanboys supporting our club than wankers who boo players during games.
Talking about wanting United not to win anything just to get rid of these fans is ridiculous - how do they hurt you personally? Because you have to listen to them in the pub and read their posts on a message board? Well sorry, but that's hardly enough reason to want your club to do badly.
Part of me doesn't give a feck if we win nothing next season, if dicks like that lose all interest in United.
You just dislike Ronaldo. Ronaldo was more important to us than Beckham or Van Nistelrooy ever were.
Did anyone say they wanted United to do badly, just to get rid of a certain type of fan?

Oops. That's double calumny.
Is that the same as double jeopardy in that I can be let off without charge?
Apologies nonetheless, I put words in your mouth and I shouldn't have. Sorry about that.
Wanting United to do badly just to get rid of fanboys is beyond my understanding of being a fan - even if it's only some part of you.
Sure, such fanboys annoys me when I'm posting on a forum and if I sit next to them at matches, but my annoyance is hardly a valid reason for wanting my club not to win anything - the club is bigger than me and my personal problems with other fans.
We have millions of fans around the world, I doubt I'd want to spend any times with the majority of them, but I wouldn't wish for the club to suddenly stop winning things just to get rid of them.
Sure, it's not all about success and trophies, but it's a nice bonus - a bonus I'd rather have than be without fanboys, who are really just insignificant fans, who doesn't actually harm the club in any way, even if we don't like their muppetry in pubs and on forums.
Yeah, they were good. There is a thread on the game already, i watched it. I've seen Ecuador twice and they are a good side, deserved to beat brazil but they sneaked a draw.
Messi in the first half was utterly unplayable, but i guess you ignored that.
As a non-united fan i do, i could always appreciate what Ronaldo did on the pitch but his antics, personality etc always made me a bit sick and the way his fans would back him no matter what was cringeworthy in the extreme.
It'll be interesting to see if the Ronaldo super fanboys actually stick around or not. From a purely footballing perspective i'm interested to see how he'll do in spain though, with fanboys spouting stuff like 50 goals easy in spain.
I actually had a bet with a poster on here before the start of this season about Ronaldo, he owes me a fiver![]()
Last years mega Ronaldo thread will embarrass some on here.
Now this is the type of thread i'd never think Sultan would create.
It is EXACTLY the kind of thread that someone like Sultan would create ... because he is a true United fan. some will get that, the others will feck off to madshitecaf.net with there idol cnut.
