A standard massive bowl in a huge tent. Concert venue with a bunch of chain stores and a huge court area outside selling overpriced food and drink.

Can't wait.
I actually don't think it's that bad from a design perspective

That being said, there's a lot that is still concerning. I'm a broken record on this but there's still feck all on how much fans will be charged.

I'd also argue that we need more around the ground but I'd agree this is not gonna be any good. This will just be a load of shite "street food" outlets charging over a tenner for a few bits of fried chicken.

I like it and I'm not even sure why I like it, but I do. I reckon it's the sheer bravado.

It's certainly not anyone else's stadium.

I'm having trouble orienting it in the area though - I'm not sure what it's assuming as its footprint, with respect to the existing Old Trafford or the freight yard etc. I guess we'll soon see.

All stadiums are pretty ugly, especially new ones.

But i like the "trident" look of the spires, and the mesh is nice since its always raining.

I mean that's definitely different.

Looks like the Space Needle poking out.

As sad as I am to lose old Trafford, getting 40,000 more fans in the stadium than any other club in the country is a pretty cool thing to have.

Basically the Emirates plus Villa Park every week.

We'll need a decent team playing decent football by then to fill it every week.

What about current stadium? Have they said what happens to it?
17,000 homes will no doubt include apartments. Can’t see why they wouldn’t make old Trafford in to a Highbury style apartment block, where water leaks are expected !

So how does financing this work in terms of PSR? Does it mean we can't sign anyone for a decade or are stadium expenses outside of PSR's focus?

Looks crazy at first from the outside but then when you see the inside it looks pretty cool to me

Why are modern stadiums always so boring inside? They make the exterior unnecessarily fancy but the interior is just copy paste.

It looks beautiful inside.

Can't wait to see it once a year.
Tickets are already right up, they are lying if they’re saying this will be affordable

Would expect a ticket with say a lower upper tier type view to be at least £140

Doubt the club will fund it. Will probably be a financial investor of sorts taking some form of equity/revenue sharing.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the external of that at all. The inside and plaza looks very nice but it's a bit of an eye sore.
