Premier League Gameweek 11

Every big team this season seems to have a run of bad results.

If Newcastle can get something out of the city game, feel like they're genuine contenders.

The overall quality in the Premier League definitely seems below par this year. Even City don't look as good as they usually are.
Had 3 or 4 loses in a row recently and you didn't hear a peep about it in the media.

What's that now? 17 goals in 14 games?

Who said it was a farmer's league?
Yup, and 7 assists. He's doing to the Bundesliga what Haaland did to the Premier League last year. A derby hat trick included.

What's with the Sky commentator bigging up Newcastle? They are 2 points above a United side that's had the worst start to a Prem League.

The ball from Joelinton was played backwards
I don't think that matters. It's whether Gordon is ahead of the ball when it's played, I'd have to see it again as I was probably too focused on him being ahead of Raya.

Newcastle turned it into their type of game. Not exactly been a vintage day of football with that and our game has it though?

What a team Newcastle are.

Even players like Lascelles look superb under Howe.

Wow, I just saw that forearm/elbow from Guimares. Seriously how did they miss that? What is going on with these horrible referees?!

Newcastle a team of thugs.
Bruno should have been sent off.

Arsenal were robbed.

Arsenal were awful second half. Saka barely did anything (not playing anywhere like he was 12 months ago), Nketieh and Havertz not good enough for sustained title push as regular starters. Can't remember Pope making a serious save all game.

It was a bit like Arsenal going to Anfield last season. They're in control first half and then one of their players makes a ridiculous challenge that enrages the home crowd and they lose their composure from that point.

Yes, they were a bit shit and have a number of players they need to upgrade to be a true challenger to City, but they have a solid core in Saliba/Rice/Odergaard/Saka/Martinelli and Jesus.

They were still robbed.

Great result for Newcastle. Top 6 look a level above the rest this season.

Wright complaining about the foul. Wonder if there were similar complains in the studio over the fouls in the Arsenal United game?

Same as the City love in.

Gotta make sure you get on that sweet payroll.
