Day 9: Cameroon vs Serbia | South Korea vs Ghana | Brazil vs Switzerland | Portugal vs Uruguay

Look at the original comment I responded to.
The guy said ten minutes was already played as if it's maximum ten minutes added on

Regardless I checked and it was not a smidge over one minute. It was nearly two minutes plus a sub which is 30 seconds.
Ref didn't even allow one full one minute extra

Eh? I just checked, ref blew at 95:45 and play resumed 97:00 which is 1 minute 15 seconds aka not nearly 2 minutes. If you're just going to make shit up then quite frankly im not interested in discussing it further.

The whole second round of fixtures have been good tbf. Except the England game...

Teams are going for it more now because they need to win.
Ye, not a fan of having 2 games at same time for the last games but then I realised they have to so that no one knows the other results In the group stage. Also stops other teams from not trying in order to help out other teams in the group.

Neither do I but like you said, it was implemented for a reason after the “Disgrace of Gijón" in 82

No matter what happens in Portugal-Uruguay, Ghana's now got what they wanted: a match against Uruguay with qualification at stake. They must be buzzing.

Yeah you're right I went and checked again.
So I'll concede that and agree you're right, 1:15.

Keeping that in mind, plus the 30 seconds from the sub that's 1.45. so how does that justify blowing the whistle at 55 seconds extra only?

Besides you take away the sub it still doesn't justify not allowing the corner as it was a Ghana player down that took out time but SK corner and on the attack.

I pray to the gods of football that Brazil scores first. Otherwise we’ll get a stinker of a game. The Swiss can sit back and bore you to tears

BRA vs SUI

Ronaldo's influence is unmatched. They even named a team after his celebration!

Son’s Tottenham genes kicked into effect this match. Same with Kane as well. Both of them just disappear in the biggest moments.

Very creative that Brazil midfield

Won't be surprised if Switzerland gets a result. They are incredibly hard to break down and last World Cup, they drew with Brazil 1-1 in the opening game.

Why did he turn back instead of just crossing it?? So negative Switzerland...
