Champions League 2022/23 - Matchday 3 - 4/5 October

Madrid are the most boring top side in world football. I'm sure Celtic will work very hard and hoof the ball relentlessly, but meh.

Also don't care for PSG, Juve or Chelsea. Most of the topclubs just arent interesting anymore. It's always the same teams getting to the same stages. It's a drag.

Why arent United in there, United are fun. Or Feyenoord :(
Yeah Madrid Champions League matches were very boring last year. And Parkhead is usually dead for these type of games. Not

Every tie Real Madrid played in the knockouts last year was a classic. Thrilling games.

Quick Mendy throw yourself to the ground

edit I see my mistake

Apparently Arsenal were the much better team that should have won because they dominated possession and we got cheap counter attacking goals or something
Was this Paul merson by any chance? Gobshite

They could win every match with 24-23 with all 47 goals being different types of never seen before bicycle kicks. Wouldn't make me any less boring.

Marco Rose isn’t BVB manager anymore?
Got sacked after last season and replaced by his (interim) predecessor Edin Terzic (who won the cup during his first stint and stayed as technical director at the club. Everyone knew Rose was doomed as soon as this constellation emerged).

Dortmund are making every single part of the game look incredibly hard. Crazy how disjointed they’ve looked.

My goodness look at that shakey chelsea defense. I thought they spent a fortune on defense this summer.

Dortmund have such an average team now. They've gone backwards after making poor signings. Take out Bellingham and they'd struggle to finish midtable in the Premier League.

Dunno which game to watch, probably gonna go for City but PSG vs Juve could be tasty

The back of this Chelsea kit is not right. Looks like an Aliexpress fake.

Imagine if they had someone like Haaland, he'd do something crazy to those farmers, like scoring 10 goals in 6 games.

Auba is so bad. What was Chelsea thinking! Desperate signing.

Definitely does feel like they've gone backwards in some positions. Meunier just isn't good enough although he does produce an assist every now and then. They need a good partner for Bellingham and ideally another good winger.
Aside of that I'd say they'd usually be fielding Kobel in goal, Dahoud next to Bellingham, probably one of Malen or Adeyemi, and Haller as CF. So they are missing some key players.

Let's wait and see. They are obviously unlucky that their top signing Haller got diagnosed with testicular cancer and isn't available soon, but they still made some signings that make sense.
